Piano Moving reviews in Columbus

  • From the beginning this company was very responsive.  They called on the morning of the move to give me a 2-hour window (I had already specified "afternoon").  They called when they were 15 minutes away and arrived when they said they would.  This method allowed me to avoid spending an entire afternoon waiting for service.  They were communicative and punctual.

The men who picked up and delivered the piano were professional in every way and took great care in moving this heavy piece of furnature.

  • I was considering buying a used baby grand from my friend's mother. I called Provider name locked. for a quote; they had a specific list of info they needed, which made it easy to get an estimate of 550-600. One of the factors they consider is how many steps they'll have to go up or down-- I couldn't guarantee the number of steps at the Provider name locked. house, since I'd only seen it once, but that's why they had to quote a range. After I agreed to buy the piano I called Provider name locked. to book a date; they had been very clear that it might be 7-10 business days before they could schedule a move, but were able to schedule it for the end of that week. They had a very clear contact system: they would call both me & my friend first thing on moving day (around 8-9am), and tell my friend the 2-hr window for pick-up, and tell me the 2-hr window for delivery. They would also call each of us about 10-15 min away so we'd be ready. Everything happened as promised. They were closer to the end of the delivery window than the beginning, but that wasn't surprising since it was a 2-hr drive, partly through Fri rush hour. They had a little trouble getting it through the doorway into our music room, because it's 4 steps down from the garage to the door, but that was my fault for not measuring it-- I only counted the steps. They realized immediately that it wouldn't clear if they slid it on skids, and changed to actually carrying it down. This wasn't a problem since they had 3 guys on the job. They put it back together quickly (you have to remove the lid, legs, and pedal lyre) and settled it into the exact spot I wanted. I thought they did a super job on all counts!

  • It went fine.  The move necessitated turning a studio piano on end to get it through the doorways involved.  Nothing was damaged in the process and the movers were very careful to get the piano placed exactly as I wanted.
