  • Prior to surgery, Dr. Provider name locked. came to my bedside as did his Physician's Assistant, Provider name locked. .  Again, Dr. Provider name locked. , and Provider name locked. asked me if I understood what my surgery would entail and if I had any questions. Dr. Provider name locked. performed my rotator cuff and subspinatus (torn muscle/ligament) repair surgery on 6-27-11.  After my surgery, Dr. Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. both met with my husband to explain how the surgery went and to give home care instructions.  Again, Dr. Provider name locked. gave my husband his office telephone number and said to call if we had any questions or problems at all.  It is now almost 13 weeks since my rotator cuff repair surgery by Dr Provider name locked. and I have no pain in my left shoulder at all, unlike prior to the surgery.  I have had two Post-op visits with Provider name locked. Med Sports since my surgery, one with Provider name locked. and one with Dr. Provider name locked. .  Both visits with the office have been pleasant, informative and caring.  This is one of the best surgeons I have ever had operate on me.  I highly and unequivocally recommend Provider name locked. Med Sports and Dr Provider name locked. for any arm or shoulder problems a patient might have.  I hopefully will not have to be operated on by Provider name locked. Med Sports Dr. Provider name locked. again, but I would not hesitate to seek his services out it I did.

  • Dr. Provider name locked. was very professional and inspired confidence in me that the issues I was having would be resolved by the surgery and subsequent rehab. Sadly, the surgery left no noticeable improvement and in fact things are marginally worse--including a numb spot on my wrist that apparently will never go away. That's not to say that Dr. Provider name locked. did anything wrong or even sub-optimal. My shoulder has been messed up for a long time. But ultimately, once the surgery was over and done, Dr. Provider name locked. was pretty much done with me. I had rehab at OSU Sports Medicine that was largely pointless and worthless, and the numbness in my wrist as well as some pain in my elbow was relegated to a nerve issue (cubital tunnel syndrome in my elbow) that was out of Dr. Provider name locked. ' purview.

  • Dr. Provider name locked. is FANTASTIC! My husband has a very rare condition that affects every joint in his body which has Provider name locked. to a lot of joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Provider name locked. was not 'intimidated' by his condition at all. Despite Provider name locked. 's shoulder being 'compromised' for years and years and injured by a car accident years ago as well, Dr. Provider name locked. was able to get fantastic range-of-motion with the shoulder replacement. Also, Dr. Provider name locked. performed my carpal tunnel release 6/2005. He did not subject me to a lot of unnecessary 'nerve' tests but knew right away from my symptoms I needed the surgery and we scheduled it without delay; the surgery took all of 15 minutes. (Note: When given the choice you want the "open hand" carpal tunnel release; that way the doctor can actually SEE what they are doing and it takes the same amount of time and recovery as the 'closed hand' procedure. There is a higher rate of success with the "open hand' routine as well). I was back at my computer within 4 days and was amazed at the results! Also, Dr. Provider name locked. operates at Mt. Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital; the MOST FANTASTIC Hospital we have ever been at! Dr. Provider name locked. only does Upper Extremities and he is FANTASTIC!
