    Tab Property Enhancement LLC
While the project underwent numerous delays to its start due to weather and a lot of other project commitments Trace had made, he did well at communicating the status to us and our other clients. And the work was well worth the wait. Trace puts an emphasis on high quality work and it's clear that he does not take shortcuts. His team is competent and professional and very responsive to questions and concerns. We are thrilled with the outcome, it turned out even better than we had envisioned, and feel that their work has really transformed our property. We would not hesitate to hire Tab Property Enhancement for further projects.

    Borowske Builders Inc
Weird and inconsistent experience. Initially, Don and his crew did an excellent job of demolition and the laying of a scratch pad foundation and the framing last October. On-time, hard-working and left with a wonderful start to the project. Then we found out that the wrong windows had been ordered which caused a six week delay which encompassed a good deal of late Fall and early Winter. Then....came the subcontractors and their portion of the job. The masons were excellent and we may call them again. The roofers were fine, pretty loud and foul-mouthed but not a huge deal. The insulation guys had to come back because their work didn't pass city inspection. The drywall guys didn't do very good with 'matching' some walls up in spots to the framing near doors or existing walls, but it was repaired after we told Don. The floor company did a beautiful job on the tile and grout and the finish carpenter made the interior of the room, especially the ceiling, look great; but the electrician was maybe the most inept contractor we'd ever experienced. Oddly placed controls and outlets on walls, hideous hookup to the main power on the outside of the addition that had to be removed, relocated and replaced. He was a nice guy though. His return to hookup the heated floor was the final part of the project and we made Don's final payment upon the completion of the floor heating install and electrical hookup even though we had considered holding back some payment until some minor items in the project like funky looking door trim and a missing threshold were fixed or installed. Don seemed very hurt that we would consider holding back some payment so we relented and paid in full. But, after a day and a half the floor heating system stopped working and then the real hassles commenced. So...then...three and a half months pass until the floor was fixed. It turns out that after maybe six or so visits from the electrician, the flooring people, our electrician (we paid for his second opinion) and the manufacturers regional rep that the electrician had hooked up the floor heating system to a 220 line instead of a standard line and blew up the system. What went on during the delay and why it took so long was (I assume) finger pointing, foot-dragging, buck passing and the desire to not have to do a "free" fix on this problem between Don, the electrician and the floor company. The heated floor finally got fixed in time for Spring and warmer weather. Project start was early October 2018 and it was completed March 2019. Cleanup was OK. Not great but not terrible. The involved parties were prompt and generally polite. My advice to anyone who hires Don and his people is to be very meticulous with his subcontractors (which we didn't even know he used until the project was underway) and DO NOT make final payment until EVERYTHING is completed to your satisfaction. Check each and every subcontractors work and insist it be done properly and to your satisfaction. Also, please realize that since Don uses a lot of subcontractors your experience will be greatly shaped by them and their performance. Don and his employees were there mostly in the beginning and at the end or if we called with a problem and they were OK as far as work goes, great with the framing but they did seem very rushed at the end for the siding install and the work showed it- missing caulking and terrible nailing of the siding. The few items that we wanted to hold final payment back on were completed by others that we paid separately in the case of the door trim or done by Don's guy with a very 'meh' looking threshold or done by ourselves as far as the missing caulking around windows and countersinking a lot of nails that were sticking out. Apparently, Don forgot or was too busy and by the end we just wanted the project done, so we bit the bullet and called and paid others or did it ourselves. So, in summary, a mixed bag. The final project as it stands today looks great but it should have been a much easier journey to get to that point. My experience with some of Don's subcontractors, and the ridiculous duration of the project length (mostly due to the floor) would put us in the no-rehire category. In the future we will look for a contractor who does the work all 'in-house'.

Betterliving Sunrooms of Akron Canton Cleveland
Mike did a fabulous job replacing our old screened in porch with a glass enclosed sunroom. Because he can customize the size of windows, we got exactly what we wanted, at a fair price. Other installers were restricting us to only one sliding door, when we needed 2 because we have a wheelchair ramp and separate steps. The resulting sunroom is beautiful and we love that the snow and rain no longer gets on the porch. My dad did the original screens in the 70's, dad was a perfectionist and hard to please, and I think he would have loved this new sunroom!

    Big Bear Remodeling
Highly Recommend Big Bear Remodeling for the tremendous job they did on our complete gut & kitchen remodel project. Rob and the entire team managed the project with precision and great attention to detail. The weekly check-ins allowed us to pivot when needed and ask the questions we wanted. The Sunday night Scope of Work-Construction Schedules were extremely helpful when planning our weeks, especially both of us working from our home office. The outstanding skill set of each trade involved was great to watch as the puzzle came together perfectly. Big Bear set clear expectations from the start, there were no surprise bills of miscellaneous labor hours or materials at the end and the project was executed spot on! Finally, we are super grateful for the kind Big Bear crews that shared our home and showed great courtesy to our kids.

Better Living Patios & Sunrooms of Northern Ohio
The Owner Mike, was a true professional. He gave me a quote much lower than Patio Enclosures. I was a little skeptical at first, but it turned out to be great choice. They tore down the old sunroom and hauled everything away.I had some rotted wood that he replaced at no charge ( I just provided the materials for this). After completion he came back and handled minor fixes. Hung a ceiling fan and light fixture. Quality of work is great and the materials used were good quality. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to add a 3 seasons room.

    Tab Property Enhancement LLC
I had a sunroom that was falling down and was looking to have it rebuilt and add a deck/patio. I had multiple bidders come out and give quotes, some I could tell were overwhelmed by the project. Some I could tell did not know how to approach or tried tactics like, "sign today and get x discount". We went with Tab and we couldn't be happier. They did a world class job and will absolutely use them for any future projects. Before I get into the categories, I should state that I'm very skilled in remodeling etc. I have redone a kitchen down to studs, tile bathrooms, etc. I have not hired out any prior work for my house so my bar of quality was set very high here. I also am extremely meticulous and detail oriented and these guys took the same pride in this job that I would have if i were doing it. Initial Contact/Quote: So easy here. Trace came out, listed to what my vision was and offered great suggestions. He then turned around and gave me a detailed quote and 3d rendering within a couple days. All free of charge. We had numerous changes to the original plans and Trace was always patient and helpful with more suggestions and provided updated renderings without prompting. Couldn't imagine a better quote process. Work/Quality: The guys work fast and do not take shortcuts. Dan the team lead was fantastic and always made sure things were built to last and of a quality that would match the rest of the home. All of the attention to detail pays off. My uncle who sells kitchens for multi-million dollar houses said this was the nicest outdoor area he's ever seen. Can't say enough here, they exceeded expectations. Professionalism: This was across the board. I've heard horror stories of contractors just standing around on the job. These guys were always in high gear. Not to mention respectful from Trace and Dan to everyone on the team. They aren't coming in to use the bathroom, etc. It's all the little things that makes you realize how great the crew is in addition to the quality of their work. Would we do it again? Absolutely, 1000%. They did such a nice job that having this new outdoor area and the quality has changed our lives. We spend every second we can outside in our new space and as a result have much better conversations, etc than just sitting inside watching tv. If you are considering Tab for any project, large or small, you'd be silly to choose someone else. These guys are the real deal and while you may pay a bit more, it is worth it in the long run as they don't nickel and dime everything along the course of a project. Thanks Trace and Dan (and team)!

    BIGGS TOTAL REHAB & REMODELING
Mr. Walker Biggs and his team performed excellent work on my condo. I had just relocated to Cleveland from New York City/Manhattan. First time condo buyer, first time to hire contractor. Biggs and another contractor were recommended by a friend. Selected Biggs Toral Rehabse. Why?Because he was prompt in responding professionally in writing to my proposal. Although he was slightly more expensive then the other contractor - I was impressed by his detailed response and positive attitude. He and his crew began job the dayI officially hired him. Professional workers, friendly, completed job in timely manner. Also always left premises clean and neat. Mr. Biggs would offer good suggestions when I asked - since I was new to this contractor/remodel world .(yes, I took some of his suggestions!). I would hire him and his crew again in the future. In addition I attest to the integrity of Mr. Briggs and his crew with the care of my new condo. Highly recommend Biggs Total Remodel.

    Suszynski Construction Inc
In 2015 we demolished the existing sun room (self and others). In 2016 Todd Suszynski and his crew, Kevin, Steve, and David built a new structure from the ground up. They did a great job and so we asked them to remodel our kitchen on 2017. We were equally pleased with their work and have them recommended to several friends. Todd was easy to work with and kept us informed of the scheduled so that we could arrange for the floor work (hired by us) and appliance delivery. The only sub-contractor in these projects was for the new electrical service panel. Todd and company did everything else including appliance installation.

    Gilbert & Gilbert Construction
I had no difficulties whatsoever arranging for an estimate. His polite office manager promptly arranged for an estimate. Upon meeting Mr. Gilbert within a day or so after my call, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of masonry. He was professional and courteous. A few days following our initial meeting, I received a nicely prepared written estimate. The estimate was comprehensive and the fees were fair. I was pleasantly surprised that he and his crew arrived promptly on the first day work commenced on my home. His crew was skilled, hard-working and very pleasant. The extensive repairs on my home took only 4 days because they came every day and worked a little later when needed. Today the work was completed and I could not be happier. The bricks and mortar perfectly match. Everything is up to code, and it looks beautiful. I am a member of Angies list specifically so that I would have access to authentic reviews by homeowners, like myself, seeking skilled, reliable and honest contractors. I was fortunate to find Mr. Gilbert on the list.

    Hurd Home Services
The rep was on time and courteous during the estimate. He stated that he didn't need to see the inside of the room, just the outside, in order to provide an estimate. He stayed for just a couple of minutes and talked about what posts he would use, what the inside finish might be, etc. Then two days later, I receive a note saying on that he "will not be bidding on your project." No other explanation. I RUSHED home in a downpour through heavy traffic to meet this guy, he pretends to have interest in the job, and then he emails with a form letter just to say never mind with no indication of why. What a WASTE OF TIME this company is. Update, 4/28/17: In response to the owner's comments on a previous review: We called the handyman, who did not answer his phone, ten minutes before the appointment to say that we were stuck in traffic and would be no more than five minutes after 6p. We arrived at 6:04p. Our small dog barked during the handyman's visit. The dog was locked in a third-floor room during the visit and at no time made contact with the handyman. The handyman was rude and, frankly, did not inspect the enclosed porch to determine the scope of the job. He never set foot inside the room and performed only the most cursory inspection of the exterior before saying he didn't need to see anything else. He never gave us a timeline for providing an estimate, and that's why we called: to obtain a timeline for providing an estimate (would it be a week, a month, longer?). In all, completely unprofessional service from a handyman who seemed unprepared for the scope of the job.
