It is very good. I have all the confidence in the world that my dogs are in excellent care with them. I feel I am confident that I can leave my dogs with them and they are very well cared for and loved.- jennifer P.
We recently moved from Provider name locked. to Westlake, and with three dogs, we needed to find a new vet. We were heartbroken to Provider name locked. our old vet (whom we had used for over ten years) and hoped we could find someone half as good. After reading reviews on Angie's List we tried Provider name locked. .
Provider name locked. , our 12-year old boarder collie, has allergies and as a result, gets chronic yeast infections in his ears. We were seen by Dr. Provider name locked. . Dr. Provider name locked. explained more to us about his ear condition in one visit than our previous vet had managed in over ten years of seeing him! The examination and medication came to $68.00 (with Angie's List $5 coupon). A week later, we needed his Otibiotic prescription refilled. We looked online for the best price and we found that Provider name locked. was CHEAPER (with shipping) than PetMeds and Amazon. Provider name locked. has been seen by a veterinarian 3Xs a year for 12 years for his ear condition, each visit cost us between $140-$160. We have never had such an inexpensive exam or such inexpensive medication. The difference between our old vet and Provider name locked. , for this routine visit, was around a 90.00 savings!!
As Provider name locked. would have it, only two weeks later, our four-year old Black lab mix, Provider name locked. , suffered an unexplained paralysis in her hind legs. We rushed her to Provider name locked. . Provider name locked. was seen by Dr. Skebe who gave her a thorough physical examination. Through the examination, she was able to determine that Provider name locked. had no broken bones and no apparent spinal damage. She recommended we sedate Provider name locked. for X-rays to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the situation. The X-rays confirmed there was no physical damage. As a stroke was mostly ruled out, Dr. Skebe gave a tentative diagnosis of (FCE) Fibrocartilaginous Embolism, and prescribed an anti-inflammatory, pain medication. She advised us to let Provider name locked. rest and watch for improvements; should her condition show no change, or change for the worse, she would need to conduct more tests. It seems as though Dr. Skebe was right on. It is the next day and Provider name locked. is showing improvement and has regained the ability to stand with some additional mobility. We're closely monitoring her progress. The total cost of the After-Hours Urgent Care, the Radiographs, the medications given to sedate (and then revive), and finally her prescription totaled $252.00.
So, within a month of trying this new animal hospital we've had two of our dogs seen by two different veterinarians. In both instances, our pets were treated with compassion and gentleness, at prices that we find extremely reasonable!! Both times, the doctors at Provider name locked. addressed ONLY the issues we brought our pets in for; there was no pressure to have additional or costly services or testing performed. We appreciate that Dr. Skebe had the experience and expertise to confidently say, "wait and see" before ordering hundreds of dollars of tests for a problem that will (God willing) resolve itself. We appreciate that Dr. Provider name locked. took the time to educate us about our pets ear condition and answer all of our questions.
We are extremely happy with the care our pets have received at Provider name locked. . The clinic staff are friendly, optimistic and helpful. Every person, from receptionists to doctors, showed compassion and concern for our pets. The doctors are personable and informative; they do not try to push treatments, tests, or needless services. Lastly, they charge rock-bottom prices for medications. If you're unhappy with your current vet, or need a new vet, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Provider name locked. .

They have a cage-free environment. This was the first time they have ever been boarded and they loved it. You do have to pass the inspections of Provider name locked. Strutt and they have to be up to date on all their shots. While we were away, I emailed them and they sent back a letter (as if it were from the dogs themselves) with a photo.- PAET V.
