  • spindle matched perfectly & re-glue seems solid. Only problem was time frame - took in mid Sept. and got back 4th of Dec. Thought I gave enough time to get back before Thanksgiving. Have used before (mostly for re-glue) & quality & price are very good. Just need a lot of patience, no rush jobs.

  • I've attempted to work with Mr. Kap twice. Both times, the responsiveness to my initial message was unsatisfactory (F) because of a very long time delay. I was kept waiting so long that I began to look for a different service. In the first case, I was eventually called back before I made the effort to book a different tuner. The technician arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. However, I do not believe the quality of the work was worth an A; I would give it a C because the upper register of my piano was out of tune when the gentleman left my home. Although I could hear that there was a problem, I needed to return to work and didn't wish to go through the hassle of re-booking, so I just didn't say anything. In the second instance (several years later), my initial message was never returned. I eventually booked with a different tuner and am delighted with his services. So I will not be seeking Mr. Kap's services in the future.

  • Unlike another prominent tuning service in the Cleveland area, Mr. Knotek responded promptly to my message. His interactions with me were professional, courteous and timely. He called ahead when he was on his way and arrived on time (according to our appointment). I'm not a piano tuner, but am an amateur classical string player with 40 years' experience. I found him to be very knowledgeable and skillful and his rates were quite reasonable. I will absolutely seek to hire him for our tuning needs in the future.

  • I am a big man and my previous mattresses all sagged after a few weeks. I saw an add for Big Fig and the models pictured are really heavy so I thought this may be a mattress that can support my weight. I have had the mattress several months and it is comfortable and holding up. No sagging. A great mattress. Also when the mattress was delivered after signing for it I noticed a blemish. I called the company and after emailing a photo of the blemish to them I received a replacement within a week. Great product and great company.

  • My husband and I chose Bloom Brothers because a repairman that we use for our appliances said we need a new dishwasher and recommended Bloom Brothers. It started out fine with a date scheduled for installation--When the installer was putting in the new washer, the door of the dishwasher fell off and chipped some molding on the cabinet. We certainly understood that this sometimes happens and were told that the dishwasher would come in the following Monday. Without going in to greater detail, that did not happen-- and that I would receive an update. By Monday afternoon, we never received a call to update us. When I called and spoke to our salesman, he said "we're waiting on the truck, etc." No apology for not updating us or for the damage done to our molding. Since, this was the second day I rearranged my work schedule to be available for the delivery, my husband and I cancelled the purchase and are getting a refund on our credit card. Perhaps because this was not a very expensive purchase, (we can't afford a higher priced dishwasher), Bloom Brothers felt that it was not worth more courtesy or attention. I have used Angie's List for years, and this is the first negative review I have ever written. VERY disappointed and now we have to also pay for the small repair to our damaged molding.

  • Excellent experience. I worked with Ken to drop off the chair (a cherry Queen Anne dining room chair) whose curved front leg had been snapped off. He clearly described the best-possible condition of the repair and had it ready a week later, as promised. The repaired chair does have a visible scar (as Ken warned there would be) where the leg was reattached but it's only visible from the back of the chair. The new finish and filling are nearly impossible to tell from the original and the front of the chair looks perfect. Excellent work.

  • Went for consultation on water damaged sofa. Knowledge was shared and opined that the furniture was ok. They repaired a torn zipper on a cushion cover in a flash and did not take money for it. Great people.

  • Bridget is extremely knowledgeable about fine art, decorative arts, antiques, and jewelry. She is an accredited appraiser. She explained her fee up front and gave us an accurate estimate on how much it was going to cost to have our collection appraised. She also recommended several venues to sell the pieces that we no longer wanted to have in our collection in a way that we can maximize the value of what we would be selling. She was extremely polite and pleasant to us, I would definitively work with her again.

  • Clint and Mark arrived on time, took extreme care to protect the piano, safely move it out of the house, secure it in their truck. A little more than 2 hours later, it was sitting in my son's living room. Couldn't have asked for better.

  • I liked the owner and employees a lot. I just needed four doors stripped. My plan was to have them do the stripping and me the refinishing. They completed the job in just a few days and delivered my doors to my home. The work was of an excellent quality. I would definitely use them again.
