    Frederick's Floor Covering And Cabinetry
It went extremely well. I found out that even remnants of "Life-Guard" carpeting would be too large -- and therefore also too expensive -- for just the corner my husband & I needed to protect. And Max at Frederick's explained that he could not cut a remnant in half. Instead, he offered me two samples of Shaw Life-Guard carpeting, which together do a fair job of covering the corner we needed. He warned me that the colors wouldn't match, and they don't, but they'll protect my freshly-cleaned carpet--which is what I most wanted. In short, Max listened to my unique needs (itself a plus) and found a way to meet them. For free! He did not charge us for the samples. When we can manage it, we'll be replacing our existing carpet of course. I asked Max for his recommendation for a house with two dogs--the Shaw carpet, hard-wood, or laminate? He suggested instead vinyl faux-wood planking, and the brochure he gave us looks very attractive. When we can manage the replacement, we'll be calling Frederick's!

    Floor Coverings International Cleveland West
Floor Coverings International did fabulous job with my carpet installation. They were the company that originally installed my carpet when I purchased my condominium, and since I loved the quality of the carpet and padding so much, and the seamlessness of it, I went back to them after I had water damage and needed total replacement. The carpet looked exactly like it was when I purchased it and you would never know that there was water damage. You cant tell where it starts and ends as the installation is top notch. The team was very professional and got it done in a timely manner. After the replacement carpet was installed, the team walked me though the house to make sure I was satisfied with the carpet and installation and they asked me if I had any questions. After such a stressful time, it put me at ease to work with such a professional and friendly team. I highly recommend them. I am a realtor as well, and I will refer them to all my clients.

    Regency Developers Inc
If you are seeking a full commitment to customer service, use of quality materials, and careful attention to every detail of the finished product, I highly recommend Regency Developers Inc. for all possible home improvement projects. I selected Regency Developers to finish my basement. The services provided exceeded my expectations from the initial review/proposal for my project to the final sign-off. This is a "hands-on contractor" that I will use gain and recommend to others.

We'd used carpet warehouse before to carpet two bedrooms in our old house and that went fine (we picked a carpet off the warehouse floor since we had very little square footage needed). This time we needed much more carpet (1800-2000 sqft) and we wanted a color thats harder to find (lighter multi-tonal gray with no browns). We chose something and were told one price from a sales rep (5500) and one from the owner (4000). We increased our budget from 3000 to 4000 to get the color/quality we wanted but when we went back saying we agreed to the 4000 price, we were told it was more like 4500-4800? and ultimately this was more than we could afford. We were told he could come up with a very similar for us at the 4000 price point that would be just as good so we trusted that and agreed sight unseen knowing we were on a time crunch and needed the carpets done by Friday 8/17 for a move in on 8/18. We got word on 8/16 that the carpet had not been shipped and would not be in on 8/17. We had to delay our entire move because we did not have this carpet - it was made very clear from the beginning that getting this in on time was absolutely critical. Eventually the carpet was installed on 8/21-8/22, with our revised move in day on 8/24. The color is not what we would have liked it to be - too dark and fairly monotone. We would not have chosen a carpet without seeing it if we weren't on the time crunch (we would have gone to see it in person) and we ended up not even getting the carpet when we needed it. I know part of this is our fault but they assured us it would be in on time so we were willing to accept the color might not be perfect - then it wasn't in on time. Also be warned they do not clean up so there are carpet fibers EVERYWHERE and several small scrap pieces in the rooms as well. Because of this its hard to tell until you sweep it all up that there are small snags in many places.

    Acclaim Renovations & Design
Had a master bedroom and master bath remodeled. Best thing we did in calling this company. Our house was built in 1935 and they came in, sugested a layout and did everything they promished. Mark, the designer, reviewed want I made sugesstions which helped immensely. The work was completed in 5 weeks as promised. Adam, Frank and Brian did amazing work. The crew was professional and thorough. They put down floor coverings to keep things clean and vacuumed every day before they left. They were very unobtrusive. They offered suggestions which enhanced the layout. Woul call them again definitely. I Love my new bathroom and my closets. The lighting is fantastic, the double sink vanity is outstanding and the shower is perfect the flooring is warm and water resistent,

The entire process from shopping, sales, measuring and installation was fantastic. This family and the team are professional, thorough, pay attention to details, and treat your project as if it were for their own home. I highly recommend them and will work with them again in the future.

Scott and his partner were terrific. We had a sizeable job to install carpet in several rooms. The quality of their work was excellent, and they went above and beyond to do a great job. Scott's communication throughout the process was also very good. Thank you!

    Floor Coverings International Cleveland West
Very well, the team was very professional and responsive. Clear outline of the work involved from the prospectus phase. Walk-through upon completion. Both Celia and John were very customer-focused, which was appreciated as such.

    Powell Remodeling
I am writing this to protect other consumers so they dont have the same experience. Please refer to the posted pictures which will give you a better idea of the poor quality of work that was done. Russell Powell the owner came over and we ended up choosing the products he recommended which were expensive but we trusted him that these products were top notch. The project was $ 10,000. After the floor was installed there were problems with the quarter round. Alot of pieces were not cut right and nailed to the floor. The floor was not prepped and installed correctly. The transition pieces looked awful. We asked for more transition pieces but Russell wanted to charge us for them even though it was his contractors fault. We asked numerous and numerous times to correct these issues and it never was. There is a part of the floor that is sagging and Russell ignored it. There are boards that are starting to come up because it wasnt installed correctly. We just gave up on having these issues corrected. We had to practically beg for someone to come out and fix anything. The same goes for the carpet. It look months for someone to come out and do the carpet. The contractor that came out left a huge seam right in the middle of the bedroom. When we complained enough Rusell finally came out and looked at it and said it was acceptable and reasonable by industry standards and it would be acceptable in his own home. We were extremely upset as anyone could imagine. Russell had someone come over to try and fix it. The company was shocked and said the contractor did a very poor job and said the carpet had to be replaced. When we told Rusell that, he had a company come over to try and sell us new carpet. This company like the other was totally shocked by the installation and had the same remedy. Replace all of the carpet because the seam was so horrible it could not be fixed. The contractors Russell hires are unprofessional and incompetent. We only paid him because this project took so long and we wanted him out of our house. He only cares about getting his money. When he wants to collect he will be at your doorstep. Any other time you want to get ahold of him forget it. We are going to have the use our own money to remedy these issues and considering how much we paid him that is completely unfair and atrocious. After we filed a complaint with the BBB that finally got his attention. Russell's remedy was to charge us for everything we wanted fixed even though he said it was under warranty. He has threatened us with a lawsuit for slander and libel. Everything that had been posted is the truth. Please look at the posted pictures for the "acceptable and reasonable work that was completed" on our home. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Sincerely Lisa Rumes.

I ordered new carpet from Watson this past summer. I was very insistent that I have a moisture barrier pad put in (due to an aging dog). I clearly communicated this to three people on three separate occasions (Richard; the salesman, John; store manager, and Art; installer). All three said I was getting a moisture barrier pad. They installed their standard pad anyway and tried to tell me it was a moisture barrier pad. After I discovered it was a standard pad by bringing a sample of the pad to other carpet stores, I confronted them, John told me "there is no such thing as a waterproof pad". Of course this was never mentioned before I ordered it. They just figured I would never know. After calling the manufacturer of their "Emerald Green" carpet pad, I was told that the manufacturer makes no claims of water resistance at all. So I was blatantly lied to by all three employees. I contacted the owner, Michael Weber and explained the situation. To his credit, he did agree to order the pad I had asked for and come out and pull the carpet up and install the pad and lay the carpet back down. Pulling carpet up and reinstalling over a thicker pad does not leave the carpet looking so good. Seams are showing everywhere and corners will not stay tacked down. I appreciate them trying to correct the problem but the whole experience was horrible. Lots of nicks in the woodwork and a crack in the bathroom grout (but maybe that is to be expected from carpet companies). Home Depot did it the first time and did a great job. I will never go with a small local company again for carpet.
