"They were thorough more so than any other place we have ever been. They had a friendly and helpful staff. I am in a wheel chair and they were very accommodating." I have been to four different eye doctors since I have been in a wheel chair and this place has been the most accommodating in moving their furniture around and their staff.

"The optometrist is fantastic. He gave me much information and went over options including contacts, surgery, glasses, etc. I play the organ, so bifocals make seeing" the music, which is in the upper portion of vision, difficult. The exam was very thorough. He apologized many times for running so late. There had been an emergency in the office earlier. The visit would be improved by a friendly office staff. They do not you as you enter and ask how they can help you. When I went back in for my glasses, I stood there for quite some time and then found out that I could have just walked over to the glasses area. Had she been friendlier while the other person in line was filling out paperwork and asked how she could help me, it could have saved me about 10 minutes. Then when I went to get my glasses, I could hear that staff in there chatting about things that could wait while I waited for another 10 minutes. The doctor is excellent. He needs to train his staff to be friendlier. Saying "Good afternoon" or "How can I help you" would go a long way in improving the office experience. They could also have volunteered the information "The doctor is running a bit late. So sorry for the wait."

  • We were able to get our appointments very quickly, and the practice offered Saturday appointments--very handy for my husband's schedule.  All four appointments were made together, but it turns out 3 were with one doctor and 1 with another.  This was questioned even by the staff the day of our appointment.  As we wanted to be with our children in their appointments, we had to wait for the other doctor to be available when the first one was nearly done with the first three; a delay that seemed unnecessary when Dr. Provider name locked. could have just done one more and finished us off.  But the appointments went well, and the doctors seemed qualified and efficient.  We preferred Dr. Provider name locked. 's beside manner to Dr. Provider name locked. 's.  Dr. Provider name locked. listened to our questions and concerns, and her answers and her explanation of our exam results were very clear.  Dr. Provider name locked. , on the other hand, did not listen to my questions, but instead would interrupt with an answer before I had finished asking resulting in answering a question I had not asked and ignoring the one I had. I have experienced this before with rushed, knowledgable doctors, but the side-by-side comparison with Dr. Provider name locked. 's manner made it especially noticeable that day.  I recommend the practice and both doctors as they both were efficient and qualified--but next time I'll be requesting Dr. Provider name locked. for all our appointments.
