  • I've never left a negative review on Angie's list before, but I feel I must warn people. The A Artenos earned is from past service, not current. Buyer beware. They're nice people but their work has really fallen off. We've used Artenos for 3 years now, and, sadly will never use them again. In 2016, they were responsive and did good work, replacing heads and helping set up new pots and watering areas. They came several times and did good work. In 2017, they were so so. We needed to call them several times for repairs, and sometimes they'd get it right. Other times, they'd arrive without the right supplies even though we'd told them what we needed. In 2018, it's been bad and getting worse. We'd request something and the guys would just show up unprepared. The straw that broke the camel's back for us was when they shut down the system for the winter, yesterday. The guy who arrived told us about how several people have quit or been fired and how far behind they are. I'm not sure why he was telling us that. He also told us that we needed to turn off water to the entire house for him to complete the shut down work. We let him do that, but we knew that wasn't right. When he "finished", he left without turning the water back on. When we turned it back on, we found he had not finished. Water started spraying in great quantities where he was supposed to shut off the system and soon was leaking into our basement from outside. I called him and asked him to come back. He said he was on another job and would come in 2 hours, which meant we'd have no water until he returned. We called several times before we could get anyone to come by to get it right. It took over 3 hours to get it fixed, and we had to keep water off in our whole house the entire time. Finally, they sent a more experienced person to fix it. The interesting thing is that, while their workmanship was sloppy and took a long time to get it right, their billing department functions very efficiently. In less than 24 hours, I'd received a bill in email. Wow! I honestly thought they'd just waive the fees after the fiasco they caused.

  • Went as expected I've used them for two years, and every time they have done a great job. They check every sprinkler and ensure everything is working properly. If any repairs are needed, they notify me before they fix it.

  • Excellent. The repairman called and asked could he come an hour early as his other job was finished. What? Of course. Turns out 1 of the 10 sprinkler heads had gotten buried due to new home construction next door. Took him 30 mins in 90o heat to dig and find the head which was broken. He replaced it on the spot. After insuring system was working, he explained and showed me how to work the controls (I'm a new owner). I will definitely use them again (wish I wrote down his name).

  • When I bought this house in Fall 2016 I used them to close up my irrigation system. They tried to essentially double my close-up costs relative to what the previous owners paid, without any notice to me (aside from receiving the bill in the mail) and only provide an after the fact excuse when I called them on it. They "graciously" changed the bill to reflect the previous owner's service cost but told me that in the future, my cost would be increased. I decided to never use them again. In the Spring of this year I did not use them to open the system (I didn't open the system at all), yet they called me time after time to try to schedule an appointment. Now, at the end of the season this year, they have called me time after time to try to close the system I didn’t even open. They went as far to leave me a message telling me that “an appointment was scheduled for tomorrow” and to call them back if I needed to cancel it. Of course, I had never made this appointment. Who made this appointment? I assume they did... without consulting me. Then when I did call them back to clearly tell them that I didn't make any appointment and to stop calling me, someone else called me back afterwards and left a message to the effect that I should “find another company to close my system this year”. What a crappy business model: harass customers and attempt to defraud them into thinking they have made appointments already. Wow... they are like telemarketers who want to water your lawn. Clearly they didn't want to lose an account, but perhaps don't use harassing tactics like continued unsolicited phone calls; and making fake appointments. Do business with this company at your own risk. My every experience with them has been poor. And they pursue me to try to get business back, only to tell me to find someone else when I tell the to stop calling!!! Wild!!!

  • Professional Service: Staff and managers are always courteous. Consistently return phone calls promptly, provide accurate estimates. System is tailored to meet our needs. Take the time to educate us so we feel well informed with a sufficient understanding of the process and the equipment. No overselling, pressure, or hidden expenses. Responsive: Any issue or question is managed promptly and to completion. Proactive: THEY CALL US in advance to inform us when it is time to turn off/on the system (based on the season –on in spring/summer, off in fall winter). They schedule well in advance and arrive promptly. Attend to maintenance issues to keep the system running well. Effective: The system is excellent for maintaining our lawn without wasting excess amounts of water. The sprinkler heads retract to ground level so they do not get hit by the lawn mower. Worth it: Business practice is more than fair. Irrigation is expensive, but Lawn Management staff have helped us numerous times. They tell us in advance if they are going to charge us for a housecall or inspection (usually they do not charge us). They have always been fair and I feel like I get full value not just for the equipment, but for the exceptional service. We haven’t had any issues with the irrigation system. Again, staff have always taken the time to courteously address any issues that we thought we were having; most of the time, our issues are related to something else like the cable line, electric line, etc. Please note I was not paid or compensated in any way for this review. I am just very grateful to be working with a company that has such a wonderful business practice.

  • They were outstanding. Many of my beds are around my house and patio. They installed soakers here so nothing was sprayed on wooden fencing or my house foundation. The men installing the soaker system were especially careful working around my established plantings. They made sure the sprayers in my yard covered all areas. As I had never had an irrigation system before, they sent one of their servicemen out when I needed instruction again after the initial setup. When it came time to shut the system down this fall, I had no trouble making an appointment. Everything from start to finish has been handled professionally.

  • Hiring Wimberg Landscaping is one of the best decisions that we've ever made after purchasing our home. As noted above, we began our relationship with mowing services and we were thrilled with the results and experience.   • Amazingly well. We had been using the company that installed the system, but they could never quite manage to get everything fixed and working properly. Surroundings showed up and were able to quickly identify the issues and repair them. The system now works appropriately for the first time in over 5 years! Additionally they pointed out areas that were not being adequately served and were able to get those covered as well as well as installing a rain sensor that will save water.
