Cura Care home health in home senior care
I spent a lot of time and effort looking for some help and assistance for my grandmother so I began with Google. I had essentially found 3 providers and decided to talk and get to know all 3 companies. I talked with Frank from Cura Care and not only was I impressed with his personalization but also the fact I got to talk to an actual person instead of an automated system. After discussing all 3 options we saw fit Cura Care. Barb assisted us and helped my grandmother receive free care from the VA. I was in complete shock that through interviewing companies, no one else had mentioned this. My grandmother got to choose the caregiver she liked best and we have been using Cura Care for over two years! It has been such a positive and easy experience with them. They truly care about their ederly and get to know the families and meet their needs. I am more than glad I chose Cura Care!

It is a match made in heaven, They do more than just care for her. I truly believe they have her best interest iat heart. and so does she. She has always been an independent person, So it;'s very hard for her to have someone take care of her that is not family. Well they have became family. they know we would like to have a regular aide and They are working on that. We look forward to every visit, Jo has a lot of medical issues Heart to Heart knows and addresses each and everyone of them.

Everything we needed Hands to Hearts was there for us every step of the way! The caregiver and staff was very caring and professional. I truly recommend Hands to Hearts to you if you need home care services for your family.

Deatra is the health care aide for my once high functioning Down Syndrome, Aunt Valerie (age 65) who has lived with me since her father passed 17 years ago. Valerie’s sister (my mother) cared for Valerie during the day while I was working but over the past 2 years Valerie has suffered 4 strokes. The third stroke left her weakened, unable to walk, get herself in / out of bed or feed / dress / bath herself and my mother was not physically able to lift Valerie so we had to rely on the help of an “outsider” to assist with Valerie during the day. This was difficult for me as I made a promise to my grandfather that Valerie would never be place in any type of care facility and would always be cared for by family - but at least my mother was still there during the day to keep an eye on things. After going through 4-5 aides I was starting give up on finding someone dependable, caring, or knowledgable. As with anything, you must go through the bad to appreciate the good! And then came Deatra! Deatra has been Valerie’s aide / caregiver for about a year and I can't even begin to express the gratitude that I have for her not only as a health care aide but also as a person. She is dependable, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and attentive to detail. She notices the little things that so many others would overlook. Deatra is always on top of things & communicates with me consistently. Valerie suffered another stroke which left her immobilized, unable to speak & swallow properly which meant a feeding tube was now needed. Health aides are not allowed to do anything with a feeding system - but I knew that Deatra would notice if something didn’t look normal and call me right away. Even though Valerie can’t respond, Deatra talks to her while she is caring for her. Every morning she walks In and says “Good morning Val"... this is important. Valerie still comprehends things we are saying to her even if she can't speak. On the rare occasion that Deatra takes a day off, I have to remind other aides that Valerie is not an object that she is a human being & they need to speak to her instead of just moving her any which way with no communication. Deatra takes pride in her work This is more than just a job to her - she truly cares for her clients and enjoys what she does. She goes above and beyond what is expected. My mother was going through chemotherapy and moved in with us and even though Deatra was not there to care for my mom, I knew Deatra would call me if mom was having a bad day & needed me and that was comforting. As you can image, my life was a little crazy… working full-time, caring for Valerie and for my mother. Deatra was so thoughtful during this time, she would unloaded the dishwasher or folded my laundry or cleaned the hall bathroom. When I told her, that although greatly appreciated, it was not necessary for her to do those extra things as they are not on the care plan for Valerie, she responded “if I do this during the day for you - it will give you more time to spend with your aunt and your mom in the evening” - this touched my heart. My mother passed away and is no longer my extra set of eyes. In a world full of crazy people… my biggest fear is leaving Valerie in the care of a “outsider" & someone abusing her while I am not around but I don’t have that worry with Deatra caring for Valerie. Deatra is not just Valerie’s health care aide. She is in an integral part of the Valerie’s life (and mine). She is an angel and for that I will be forever grateful.

    Hands To Hearts LLC
Very professional company. Reliable, well trained, bonded and insured individuals. The aide working with my father is young, energetic and friendly which made him very cooperative and happy. Owners are very responsive to any issues or problems which occur. Pricing is very competitive. I recommend this company highly for any health or care support needed. They do it all, well and for a reasonable cost.

Care provided my husband is excellent. Some aides spend too much time on phones instead of asking how they can help. Others are great. There have been times when no one shows up and I don't receive call to inform me.. I do not have a problem when they are late, since they are traveling during rush hour. It bothers me that I am required to schedule four hours per shift, when two would be adequate. Try to be flexible when am informed by a care giver when they could be late or leave early. Office is great when I call with an issue or problem. Also, appreciate. When they adjust bill when I have a billing discrepancy - does not happen often., Currently have several great care givers. It does seem to be common in this business to have sudden turnovers. Office tries to provide with care givers that fit our needs. Could do a better job of encouraging employees to bring supplies from office, I.e. gloves etc. Nursing has come to the house when requested.

Very satisfied to this point with their service. My dad has many elderly needs and they met with us to discuss them. They found two very good aides that fit his needs. Dad seems to like them.
