Cincinnati Countertop Installers Reviews

"After talking with several granite installation companies, we selected
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, primarily due to their positive reviews on Angie's list.
We were not disappointed. They did a great job.
The granite we selected has a lot of "movement," so matching the patterns was not easy. We did our counter tops, island, and a 4 inch back-splash with this granite.
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
's price was competitive (actually tied one other estimate for lowest of 5 quotes). They did a high quality installation job. They did the work on time and were very professional in every way.
One note: Their quote does not include plumbing or electrical work. So you need to plan for plumbing sink drains, water faucets, gas lines for
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, etc. Even allow additional fees to hire this work done separately, they were still very competitively priced.

Wukusick and his wife
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
run the business from their home near Batesville, Indiana. They specialize in soapstone, keeping a good selection of stone slabs to choose from. To make sure I understood the characteristics of the material age it ages,
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
gave a tour of their home which has soapstone installed at different times, some decades old and others very newly installed. The time spent at the studio was very informative and relaxed, with no pressure to make a decision. When it was time to measure the cabinets,
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
did the measurements himself and showed his gift for precision. He also personally installed the countertops with the help of an assistant, and made sure the kitchen was meticulously cleaned of any dust before they left. The soapstone countertops have been everything I'd heard and more--beautiful, durable, able to handle hot pans, and much easier to care for than granite. It was worth every penny, especially considering soapstone will look just as good after 100 years.

"It was a dream job. Everyone was always on time. All workers were wonderful -- couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. First the owner,
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, came with samples. He sent an estimate that was not our lowest. But he did not want any payment until the job was completed! That was a big plus in our book, so we tried to work with him, and he lowered his price a bit, so tho it was still not the lowest, we liked him and decided to go with him.
Next came the man who did the profile, on time and nice. Then the tear out, again prompt and fine workmen. That was the day before the installers, who were exactly on time. Again, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
We were very happy that we did select
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. As he ran into problems, he worked with us. The kitchen faucet that we had planned to use was glued on and couldn't be disconnected, though they really tried, so
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
let us have a great new one at his cost. All the workmen were great at problem solving, always polite. We are totally happy with the job, and would certainly recommend this company.

did an excellent job of measuring, and creating a kitchen design for new cabinets. My house is over two hundred years old and has a challenging kitchen to layout.
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
's Cabinets has been very professional, punctual and helpful throughout this process. The previous review was premature. I was not familiar with rating on this website and when Angie's List requested the original rating, we had just finished measuring and had not gone through the entire process of completing the cabinet job. I am very satisfied with
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Cabinets and would recommend them to others.

"Started out pretty standard, they measured and we met
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
to look at slabs. On Sunday we were promised installation on the next Sunday, I had to call
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
on Friday to confirm and was told they would not be able to be there as slab was too small to get my pieces out of.
Another trip to look at slabs, picked out a larger slab. Was told installation would be following Saturday.
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
asked if Sunday would be O.K., I agreed and was told install would be as early as possible Sunday.
Finally at 7:30 pm Sunday they started.
Next came the backsplash that they cut wrong, so work ended immediately.
Monday at 8:15 pm they returned without one of my countertops, and after being told "if they could not be there at a decent hour not to come".
Installation went pretty well on Tuesday until I came down my basement stairs to find a cloud of dust because they were grinding the foundation wall in my basement.
The counters were all sealed on Tuesday night and the concrete dust settled into the finish.
I had to install my own dishwasher
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, which they dropped off to me and add bracing for one of the slabs.
I have called
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
twice just to get a copy of my paid invoice to no avail. Also asked to get basement counter refinished because of dust settling into it, was told it would be refinished and have heard from anyone as of 8-25-13.
It is now 10-26-13, I still feel strongly about my review and I am submitting. I still have never gotten a call back after two messages, I do not have a paid receipt of any kind, and had someone else come strip and reseal my basement countertop where the concrete dust had settled into the finish.
It is of note that the company that refinished my basement counter top, feels that that countertop was basically not polished to the same shine as my kitchen counter tops, which is why it will always look terrible.
Bottom line: There are a lot of reputable granite installers out there, use one of them.

"When we purchased our new house we knew the first thing on our to-do list was to completely gut our existing kitchen along with the floor and install new cabinetry, countertops, and flooring along with new appliances. I spoke with three different providers for this job and ended up selecting
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
based on both their Angies list review and the fact that they beat the price on the project (for the exact same brand products) by leaps and bounds. Now that the project is complete I'm also blown away at the quality of work and professionalism of this team, especially given such competitive pricing.
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew were excellent at what they did. I would consider my wife and I as having pretty high standards and
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
surpassed all of them. Even small details that we asked for weren't forgotten. When there would be a correction needed or a slight change, they were extremely quick to make it right. I've heard horror stories from friends about contractors quoting a project, then doing additional work and then charging them more for it, but after all the dust had settled, they always honored their quoted prices and even threw in a few upgrades!
After finishing the kitchen, we've continued to use
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for additional projects and have continued to have a great experience. we've had them continue on to do updates to bathrooms, custom basement work, and even smaller things such as fixing leaking showers. I'll have to review some of the other projects separately but I can say these will be our go-to people for any house projects in the future.

"We originally bought cabinets to match those that were already in our kitche from
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. The gentleman who helps us told us it would be 2-3 weeks to get them in and at 4 weeks we called to check on them. When asked if they were in, he replied "Oh I must have forgotten to tell you, did you need them?"
Next, we want to match the countertops - not only did it take a significant amount of phone calls to even get someone to call us back, but they gave us to someone who is contracted (according to the person I spoke with) and doesn't even work for the company itself. Then call after call after call and nobody knows what's going on and nobody called us back and finally this gentleman calls to let us know the countertop is discontinued and we would need to go with something else. We were fine with that and let him know we'd like to do black granite.
We knew exactly what we wanted and the dimensions (for which we recieved two different quotes on the same thing) and the gentleman helping us says he HAS to come to the house to template it, and he would call to set up an appointment. Then he doesn't call back, day after day we had to call him to get a response. After several excuses for why he couldnt' call us back he says he'll set something up the next week and of course, he'll call back. I actually had to ask if I could speed up the process by going and picking out the remnant in advance.
Finally, almost a week after telling me he'd set up an appointment I call the main office and ask to work with someone else and this gentleman who answered the phone was not very pleasant. He told me that he didn't know what I'm talking about and he's "way too busy" to come out and template, even though he's the person we first worked with and we had a quote from him. Then I asked should I go with someone else if you're too busy, to which he replies "yeah that's fine".
The counters we bought were nice (we are going with someone else for countertops, per his instruction) but if you want customer services from the acutal sales people you're supposed to work with, I would not recommend
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
.

"We purchased our granite countertops from this company and that will be the last purchase we ever make from them. The cutting of the countertops was not what we expected. Also a big heads up that they subcontract out the installation of the countertops. It's not actually
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
& Marble that installs them even though you pay
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
& Marble. Guess what that means, if you have issues with the installation and go to file a complaint it will not show up on the records because technically
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
& Marble did not install the countertop! But then try to complain about the install company and that won't work because technically you did not pay them, you paid
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
& Marble. It's almost impossible to
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
a complaint against either and I'm guessing that's the whole point of how this works. I could not recommend this company to anyone and we will never buy anything from them ever again.

"They were excellent in every aspect. I am very happy with the work that they did and I have a very large kitchen. From sales to installation, they were respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. We have recommended them to family and friends."

"We found
Cincinnati Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
through a flyer we got in the mail and checked them out because of the advertised pricing. Their prices are much lower than the competition. We were skeptical, as we had been to several granite companies prior to this. But they had a great selection of types of granite and the end result looks great. We selected two types of granite - one for our kitchen and one for our bathroom. The company came out to measure for our countertops, then cut and fabricated the granite.

The measuring must have been right on, as the countertops they installed fit perfectly. For our bathroom, the first top they installed was of the wrong type of granite. But when I pointed this out, the installer was incredibly quick to fix the problem. He offered to make it right immediately and to come back that very night (after his normal work hours) for the re-install. We ended up not having to do that for a variety of reason, but I was VERY impressed with how strongly he was in his insistence to help get the problem fixed right away.

End result is beautiful countertops, great selection of granite, very good prices, and good customer service.
