Bill Provider name locked. and an associate came out the same day I called. I had already contracted with another company to do the repair work, but needed a painter for afterwards and was interested in the Tex-Provider name locked. that I'd heard advertised. I asked him to prepare separate estimates for both the repair and painting, which he did within 24 hrs.
The estimate for repair was very competitive with the previous contractor; actually, about half the cost, so I do wish that we had gotten in touch with Provider name locked. in the summer when we were getting estimates. The estimate for painting is significantly higher than other estimates we had received, but comparing regular paint with Tex-Provider name locked. is like apples and oranges. The Tex-Provider name locked. is guaranteed to last for as long as we own the house, so could well be worth the added expense.
We are going to honor our commitment for repair work to the previous contractor, but will consider having Provider name locked. apply the Tex-Provider name locked. in the spring when the temperature is conducive to painting.

Provider name locked. came within a day or two of my first call to him, looked at the job and gave me a verbal estimate, which he later modified in his written estimate (a $200 increase). The chimneys needed to be swept first, which we scheduled as soon as we could. I knew Provider name locked. was about to go on vacation, so I e-mailed to ask to get on his schedule. I didn't hear right away, but received an e-mail on October 12 telling me they would be over that day. Unfortunately, we were out of town and there was a car in the driveway, blocking the work site. Fortunately, a helpful pet sitter was able to move the car. Had we had a little more communication, we could have solved that. That's the reason for the 'B' on responsiveness.
Even with the small increase, Provider name locked. gave us a very reasonable quote compared with others, and his crew did the work in about a day and a half. They were friendly, professional, and left the site totally clean. The final product looks great and should last us for years.

Accepted the fact that we had no specific appointment but figured it would get done in a timely fashion. When nothing was heard by the first of October, 6 to 7 weeks later, I called, left two messages and even an email… nothing. No response.
If he didn't want the job, don't bid it and I would have moved on instead of waiting for a repair that would never happen.
