Car Washing reviews in Cincinnati

  • This used to be the best car was around... With clean water and strong soap leaving your car immaculate. However the quality has greatly gone down hill in recent months. Upkeep of the facilities is poor. Machinery breaks down frequently. On one occassion I sat thru an entire wash where the soap never came out of the machine. Another occassion the door would not open to allow my car through. Today, the door got stuck going up to allow my car in as to where I had to turn around and leave... This after waiting in line over a half hour. There is never any attendant or personel present to resolve issues such as this so you have to call the phone number posted... Which goes unanswered and you have to leave a message. Its very frustrating. I will be looking for a new car wash to frequent at this point.

  • It is a very pleasant experience.  Parkway Auto Wash is conveniently located just off I-75 at Hopple Street, on Central Parkway.  It is easy in-out of traffic.  As you exit the car, an assistant takes your order, removes/washes your floor mats, and vacuums the entire interior.  The assistant drives the car to the carwash entrance, while you can view the entire automated wash process through the windows, from inside the hallway.  Inside the hallway are tons of information, automated speakers describing the process, even a step up to a window so little tykes can view the car "drive itself" down the line.  In the lobby area, where you pay, there are tons of snacks, and accessory items for your car, such as air fresheners, etc.  When the car exits the line, another worker jumps inside and begins spraying the windows and dash to a sparkling clean condition.  Outside in the lot, the finishing touches are applied by the worker; drying the exterior, apply Armor All tire shine, etc.  In just a few minutes time, you have a showroom condition car once again.

Parkway is so well respected that they have a contract with the City of Cincinnati to do their cruisers, fleet cars, etc. They also contract with other companies' fleets.  I have been a customer for over 35 years.  There is none better in the  entire region than Parkway Auto Wash.

  • They did a very good job on my CRV, when I picked it up it looked just like new. I appreciate the information the owner shared with me about the fabric on my seats, unfortunately because of the recycled fabric the manufacturer used, they couldn't get the coffee stains completely out, but they did the best they could and in spite of not getting the stains out completely my car still looked a whole lot better than it did before they cleaned it. I'm satisfied with the job they did and I would use their services again. The staff was friendly and the owner made me feel welcomed and I did not feel like a stranger. It was a pleasure doing business with DTI.

  • They did a great job. Very thorough and both our SUVs looked like new! I appreciated they weren't trying to sell me other services. They did the job they were hired to do and they did it well. Would definitely use again.

  • We brought the car in at 9:00 and at 4:00 it was finished as promised. We were extremely impressed with the quality of the work. We used a Groupon so the price was very reasonable for the amount of work involved. The car looks great!

  • When I made the appointment a week earlier I was given a choice of 8 10 or 12. Nothing about 7. When we got there at 9:30 we were told we were marked a no show for our 7AM appointment

We were told "there's nothing we can do, we're all booked up."

When we got home we called to speak to the manager we were told he was busy. Then we asked to speak to the owner and the manager suddenly wasn't so busy. He said the appointment was made with the "senior" cashier and we were wrong.

Nothing else: we were wrong and 2 1/2 hours late.

He did say they had an opening Sunday morning (I think at 8). We declined. They don't deserve our business.

  • Thanks Angie's List. If Janeese wouldn't have been so rude or Courtney, the supervisor, had called me back then I wouldn't have had to call Angie's List.

I am really not sure if I would hire this company for a future job. I can wash my car or go to another company.

  • They were extremely friendly when I pulled in and the guy that washed and dried the car did an amazing job. I can't remember his name but he was great and very thorough as my car was rather dirty from some landscaping that had been done in our home.  I highly recommend!

  • Car wash is great because it accepts credit cards and my costco amex. Car wash is usually busy on fridays and nice days. Equipment works well. Costs are in line with other self service washes. You can get discounted washes if you buy their gift card, but i havent tried it.

  • I noticed that the guys used brushes to wash amost all of the car prior to the car going into the actual machine car wash.  I followed car through and noted that there was not a lot of soap or rinse going onto the car.  I said to the attendant--doesnt seem like a lot of soap and he saiad snidely "its enough>>>"   But I can tell you that thte soap added was minimal and why d the guys use long handled push type brushes on the whole car before the car goe into the wash???  I noted a lot of brand new cars there so I am guessing that thaey havaae a contract to wash new carsfor a local dealer(s)
