  • The point is that dr. Lohr is the very best cutter in town. My two incisions are virtually un detectable. I would go to no one else. She is busy, she is direct, she will answer all your questions, but she might run late.
    - Joan J.
  • At the appropriate time, she referred another incredible surgeon for reconstructive surgery. I can't say enough to express what a great doctor she is. Anyone needing a surgeon for breast cancer surgery, in my opinion, will be hard pressed to find a better surgeon.
    - Gayle U.
  • I saw Dr. Manders for a third opinion after a diagnosis of breast cancer. She ordered an additional test, which the other doctors did not mention. This put my mind at ease because it was one more way of diagnosing the scope of the problem. She was very thorough in explaining the options and in listening to my concerns. She answered my many questions fully. She set up appointments with several doctors for consultations about follow-up radiation and oncology care, in order to get a full picture of treatments that are available. Dr. Manders subsequently performed my lumpectomy. Her compassion and empathy for the patient is extraordinary.
    - Lynn S.
  • Dr. Lydia Hernandez handled the follow-up biopsy from a routine mammogram that came back with a suspicious "spot". She was FABULOUS! Kind, thoughtful, attentive, answered EVERY question, and helped me through a difficult time. She called at 9pm with the pathology report (benign), so that I wouldn't have to wait any longer than necessary to get the results. She's a wonderful physician and I will continue to have all my breast-health issues addressed by her at this practice.

  • There were problems at several phases of testing. The main issues center on how to communicate results to understandably worried patients and adequately controlling pain in biopsy procedures. The facility seems to have a more "production" center of care, and less of a "patient" center of care. Despite reviewing the problems with center managers and medical staff, little/no follow-up to resolving the problems seems to occur.

  • I consider Dr. Stahl the best in the city, if not the state (and larger territory). From the moment I met her (with my husband present), we were reassured. We felt we were in the best hands (literally) possible. If there had been any question in that regard (which there wasn't), it would have been answered once at the hospital. I lost track of the number of unsolicited compliments I heard from nurses and other medical professionals around me as I was prepped for surgery. I could not have felt better going into that operating room. Her demeanor is both brilliant and gentle. I know she is busy and highly in demand, and yet she never seems rushed or bothered by my questions. I am thrilled to be under her care.

  • She is an excellent doctor. She is thorough in her examination, answers all my questions, takes plenty of time with me and asks me about the medicines I take. She has given me tips on how to prevent breast cancer and where to look for it. I had other doctors, who were men, and they didn't really give me much input. Her quality of work is excellent, and if it's an emergency I'm sure she would see me right away and not keep me waiting. She has always been highly recommended.

  • Dr. Manders and her staff helped me through the trauma of a breast cancer diagnosis with amazing empathy, compassion and respect...not to mention top notch clinical skills. After the initial diagnosis I saw Dr. Manders and we discussed what it meant for me and what my clinical path might look like. She first performed a sentinel node biopsy. After the results she explained my options and we discussed the best path for me. I chose to have a single mastectomy with reconstruction at the same time. Dr. Mander's office took full responsibility for coordinating everyone's schedule (hers, my reconstruction surgeon's, the hospital's and mine) so that I didn't need to make any arrangements myself. After surgery, she recommended an oncologist and coordinated the insertion of my Port with my first Chemo treatment so my Port would be accessible without the additional needle insertion. My medical outcome is great, and I credit her for my good emotional outcome as well. I highly recommend Dr. Manders.

  • She is very good. She describes what she is doing and what she finds. She tells you what to watch for and has a very good reputation. She also tells you things you are eating and drinking and how they affect you and gives you preventative measures.
