Bathtub Refinishing reviews in Cincinnati

Derek was initially recommended to me by another rehabber as being the best combination of price and value in Cincinnati. Since then, I have had him do two jobs for me. The first was a flip of an old house with an unusual size bathtub that was discolored and needed to be either replaced or refinished. Before I took the sledge hammer to it, I gave him a chance to refinish it. This decision saved me hundreds of dollars and looked like I had installed a new tub. The second was a rental that I still own with a large apron front sink that had terrible staining and a finish that had worn through to the cast iron in places. Again, fantastic job, reasonable price, and very friendly and knowledgeable service. If you read my other reviews, you will see that I am straightforward and sometimes brutally honest. I recommend this small company without reservation.

Marlene was fantastic throughout the whole process. She was quick to schedule an appointment that worked for us. She was great at communication. Most important of all, she made our tub look better than new! The price was also very reasonable for the time and quality of her work. We would highly recommend her. Check out many of the before and after pictures on her Facebook page.

We are extremely pleased with the work done on our bath tub but Tub and Tile Renew. Marlene, the proprietor, was extremely customer focused and flexible to work around our needs to move the date for the work done a couple of times. She did a first rate quality job, cleaned up the work area perfectly and completed the work on time at a very reasonable charge. She was personable and very easy to work with. Marlene came to our home and surveyed the work to be done. It was a little out of the ordinary because of the size and shape of the bathtub but she stuck to her original estimate and got the work done perfectly. We are completely satisfied with the experience of working with Tub and Tile Renew and would recommend this vendor without hesitation to anyone who wants a high quality job done on a bathtub or tile refinishing at a very competitive rate.

Luke did a beautiful job. Very professional, protected other items in bathroom during the process, cleaned up after job was completed. I would definitely use Bathrub magic again and ask for Luke. VERY satisfied!!

At first it looked good but after 30 days problems start occuring. Company was called and informed about the poor quality of job performed but they were insisting i owe them some money and won't come back to fix it until i pay them the balance they were talking about. Manager promised to call me back but she never did. Definitely i will not hire them again nor recommend them to anyone. They talk about warranty of job performed but in truth they don't honor job warranties. To interested customers i would strongly recommend, a better company with a cheaper price and better quality of job performed.

In just one day, Cincinnati Bathtub and Tile Reglazing made it look like a gleaming new tub. They showed up on time, set up a surprisingly elaborate way to vent the odors and keep dust at a minimum, acted professionally at all times, respected my home and property, and even took time to pet our dog. I could not be more pleased with the results, and Cincinnati Bathtub and Tile Reglazing is the type of contractor you always want but rarely get. Any homeowner would be pleased with them and the work they do.

It was excellent. The service was good, the price was actually lower than they had quoted originally. They were clean, efficient, left no mess and did a great job. The tub is 50-60 years old and now it looks brand new!

They had to come back twice and finally gave me part of my money back. One of the workers had a lot of demands of my tenants requiring them to sweep the whole house and clean everything. They were good housekeepers.

We had an old yellow tub, but was in great shape. We also had most of the bathroom covered in yellow tile (also in great shape). We were undertaking a remodel of the bath & decided to go for the reglazing. It provided an instant update in a matter of hours. We then went on to redo the floors, vanity & (yellow) toilet and the bathroom looks amazing now thanks in big part to the reglazing completed by Dan. Will try to add photos for a before & after.

First, appointment was late which caused me to move another scheduled appointment that resulted in that appointment being completed at close of the auto repair facility. Second, my telecom conversation with the MB Link tech, concerning their lateness, was stated as delays from Dayton to the Cincinnati area were traffic related. (I was first appointment- no excuse- leave earlier). Then, I was NOT made aware that another MB Link tech would also arrive to "prep" the areas and plastic cover for over spray. Our bathroom floor is new, Home Depot installed, so I provided a sheet of cardboard for the front tub area to ensure no floor damage. I did not pay attention to the preparation and left it to the "A" rating trust many have provided on Angie's list. The MB Link paint tech arrived and repaired the minor cracks ($55) and I agreed to tub anti-slip ($35). She set up the sprayer and vented the exhaust hose through our window and did her thing of priming and final paint of the tub. The tub looks like new; I'll admit that. How it holds up to daily use by two adults that are always careful is TBD. Now the rub. When you spray primer and the final coats of paint in a bathroom, which in this case is smaller than the newer homes, then over-spray will occur. Since I did NOT pay complete attention to the prep and plastic i "assumed" everything was protected from over-spray. Well it was NOT!!! The door entrance areas and bottom wall all had over-spray which was noticeable the next day when the service technician came by to remove all the prep plastic and tape. her only concern was my opinion on the tub refinish; which I thought was excellent. Like I have mentioned, how it holds up is TBD. Anyway, she packed her stuff and left. Now, the rub. I had over spray on the bathroom floor entrance area and bottom wall because it was not fully covered. I had white protective "booty" prints on my wood floor from the bathroom to the front door; a $1600 floor refinish job that home depot did less than twelve months ago. AND, I had white "booty" prints all over the driveway that I had just resealed two days prior. Why? because after each spray application the technician would leave the bathroom and go sit in her van then do it all over again. NOT ONCE did she take off the shoe coverings (booties) after each application and then walk through the living room to her van. So hence, she constantly tracked "paint" in and out of the home. Took me all day to clean those foot prints inside and then reseal that portion of the driveway; again
