  • After calling ProCare, Provider name locked. was sent out a few days later to give us an estimate on removing some mold in our basement.  Provider name locked. inspected the area, let us know it was a minor mold issue, mainly confined to a small area (under carpet on tacking and along baseboard and on a spot on the drywall). He explained that his company is an off-shoot of ProCare, when I asked why the estimate said "Silver Lining Restoration.
Provider name locked. and his team arrived promptly on a Saturday. They sealed off the room, had the air scrubber running, they cut out the drywall (up to 2 feet up) on one wall and pulled up the carpet and cut a portion of it out.  We had discussed this with him beforehand and said it was ok, since we are going to replace floor covering anyway.  He had told us that the mold was contained to the an area along the baseboard, and Provider name locked. of carpet, and a spot on the wall, but not on the inner foundation.  When they removed the drywall, and carpet, he was able to see that there was no other mold.  They bagged everything up and removed it from our home, and they disposed of the materials.  He treated the floor, wood studs, and concrete with an anti-microbial bleaching compound and an anti-microbial sanitizer.  The job took about 90 minutes.  Provider name locked. was very professional and seemed very honest, which is why we went with his company.  He explained that his company is an off-shoot of ProCare, when I asked why the estimate said "Silver Lining Restoration."  We are now in the process of sealing up a small crack that was discovered after the drywall was removed, having our concrete sidewalk fixed so it slopes away from the house, and having our gutters replaced!

  • Provider name locked. had amazing customer service even though I was not a paying customer. His compassion, willingness to speak with me multiple times that weekend for advice, and guidance were invaluable. He even took time to call me back later in the weekend and inquire how we were doing and if the water had been successfully removed by the alternate provider.

  • The job was done with lots of care for the room to avoid dust.
They also discovered that my laundry room's dry walls also were wet.
They did not find any pipe leak and concluded that the moisture came from outside, directly form the brick walls, as there is a light shaft behind the wall where rain and snow fall.
I was said that this would need major works, with the removal of all appliances to access the back wall.
They left the hole in the wall covered with plastic and said they would send me an estimate for insulating and repairing the walls.
No estimate was sent, no phone call, nothing.
I emailed and called to remind them to send me the estimate… but they never got back to me!
In spring, I had the light shaft covered to protect it from rain and snow. And had the hole in the room closed and painted. And the laundry room wall insulated.
… And the wall in the room again showed bubbles and moisture after some weeks… So… there IS some leak somewhere, and it does not come from the light shaft since it did not rain there for many months.
I found that the actual work done looked clean and professional, but I paid the full price, thinking I would get my $350 credit for the real job, for which I never got the estimate. I did not hear from them ever, and although they are  supposed to owe me the Angie's list credit, I prefer not to deal with them anymore.
