    Stan's Welding
The work was completed and looks as if the structure was brand new. I am so very impressed with the work performed and although the project ran longer than expected (due to weather), we are extremely pleased at the professionalism and pricing. Our condo association solicited several bids on this project and although Stan's was not the least expensive, based on the work shown on their website, we knew that this was who we needed to work with. They quickly came out and estimated the project and explained exactly what needed to be done. The work was extensive. The structure was severely damaged by the elements and salts used over the years. There were sections of steel which needed to be replaced and other areas which could be ground down, primed and painted. The steel landings needed to be completely removed and replaced as well as some of the stair treads. We were told that the work would take 7-10 working days and unfortunately due to heavy rains, the actual timing went longer. We did NOT complain at all because as we were monitoring the progress, we were so very impressed with the work. Not only did they do exemplary work, they kept the work site clean and safe for all our residents. By the end of the project, they had replaced, restored, primed and painted the complete structure and it is beautiful. Please give Stan's a chance. Even if their pricing is a bit higher than other bids, you will NOT be disappointed with the results.

    All aboard boat repair
The work was excellent. The gentlemen's name is Don, he is very knowledgeable and thorough and gave me a great price. He was basically a life saver when there was an emergency repair needed to be done on my boat.

    Garys Cycle Shop
Its been open since WWII. The father and Gary opened it, and his son and daughter work there. Its a small neighborhood, but its been here forever. They have always been great for me. They have Schwinns. They are a very good brand of bike. I toured the factory when I was in brownies. They always put a basket on my bike. They put on in the front and back. I call them saddle bags. I can sit a shopping bag on them. They are collapsible, and you can close them up. All my bikes have baskets, because its how I get around. I stopped driving. They supply the baskets. I always use them. Tires, and stuff like that.

Marc came out of his way to my location and helped me assemble a new bike and dissasemble a defective one that I had to ship back to Amazon. He was very friendly and did everything right outside my apartment so I didn't have to drag everything to him! Imagine dragging a bike in pieces throughout Chicago to take it somewhere!!! It would have been a headache! Also, after shopping around Marc's prices were by far the cheapest! And if you follow him on Facebook he has offers and discounts from time to time. I highly recommend!!

The tune up itself went very well. Marc did great work and even replaced my bike seat at my request. Because the service was done at my house, punctuality was a small issue, but not at all a big deal.

    Bike House Call
I asked them to send an email confirming the appointment after having spoken with them on the phone.  I did get the email confirmation but no one showed up on the scheduled date and I did not receive a call from them that day.  I called them the next day and didn't get ahold of anyone.

    Bikefix Inc
They're just been around for just a couple of years. They were very upfront with their pricing. They didn't hide anything. They let you know what was going on and what work they would do and if they had any additional concerns or repairs, they would call you. They let us know when everything was done and it was done pretty quickly. The bike that we had was a really old bike so I kind of felt foolish bringing it in because these guys really worked on a lot of high end stuff, they were like "no, it's fine". They were just great guys. We would use them again absolutely.

The gentleman who helped me was very nice. He asked me what kind of road conditions I would be riding in. He also explained how to apply the lube to my chain. He was very helpful. i think it's important to support small local business's.

I inherited a 30-year-old Brunswick table from family so I called Dennis to help bring it back to life and assemble in my basement. He was quick to reply and had a crew to come check my table out within a day or two. Upon inspection we found my table was missing lots of key parts including a piece a slate. This thing had been wrapped and stored for 10 years. Dennis purchased replacement parts and had his guys assemble the table, and it looks brand new. Couldn't be happier with the job. If you have billiards table needs call these guys.

Wonderful service! SUCH a relief not to have to fit the bikes into the car and leave them somewhere for repair!! The guy was very helpful and professional. Talked to me about the condition of the tires, how long they should last, options for repair. It took about 2 hours to do the work on both bikes. The tune-ups were $75/bike. The kickstand was $10. I think ON THE FLY was a great discovery -- Passerbys and neighbors were curious when they saw the truck and came out to talk to the guy about their bikes.
