    Clemmons Larry C
Larry Clemmons is a joy to be with and he made my feet, and my whole being, feel terrific.  The session was a bit intense on my feet, but I walked out feeling like I was walking on air, and very very happy.  He works with so much care and love, you cannot help but love the session!

    Clemmons Larry C
Larry Clemmons will make you feel great, not just your feet, but your whole being.  He worked on my feet in what was a very intense way, but the whole time generating the most amazing positive attitude and energy, and when you was finished I felt like I was walking on air.

    Stolen Moments Spa
John is a consummate reflexologist.  You will sit in a zero-gravity reclined position with feet raised - so comfortable.  As he begins to work on  your feet you will sink into a deep relaxed state.  Those familiar with their own energy patterns will feel the clearing and moving of energy along the meridians.  But you don't have to know anything about energy - just understand that this ancient practice of manipulating spots on the feet that correspond to various areas and organs of your body is a proven therapy that will provide immediate and lasting positive results on the body, mind and spirit.  John has a very strong yet comforting touch, he is truly expert, and I highly recommend him.  BTW I listed a date for one appointment because the website made me, but I've had several over the past couple of years.

They were able to take me quickly with an appointment the same day.  It was one of the best massages I have had.

    Third Coast Reflexology
I did a google search to find a reflexologist that had experience with fertility. I found Nancy and had a call with her. After my first session, I bought a package of 10 sessions at a reduced rate and have renewed a couple of times. Well worth the money. You can also tell she really cares. She will shoot me an email or call after a medical test/surgery. She is good people.

    Denise J. McGrew, LMT
Denise continues to deliver first-class massage therapy serfvice. She worked on me for an hour and a half and after leaving the office I felt renewed once again. She is excellent at locating and really working those ares that are too tight, loosening them up very effectively.

    Health Elements
I usually see my practitioner who is located a mile from my house, but I traveled into the city (not Chinatown) to visit Health Elements to get treated since they use Young Living Essential Oils.  I experience back pain consistently and need treatment every month and heard that the use of essential oils amplifies the treatment.   Dr. Long was the practitioner and he did a foot massage using a blend of essential oils.  After the foot massage, all my back pain was completely gone.  Then he did a technique called cupping on my back using essential oils (not sure if they were different or not).  He also did some acupuncture to remove pain from my shoulder.   After this fantastic treatment, I would definitely consider the drive back into the city.

    Block Medical Center
I have been a patient at the Block Center for 4 years. I cannot recommend it highly enough! The staff is wonderful and sometimes go out of their way to care for their patients, and they are always giving hope and looking for alternatives if the current protocol isn't working. The philosophy of the clinic, founded by Dr. Keith Block (who is available to speak one-on-one with the patients, and has a wealth of information & experience), is an integrative/holistic one, which promotes whole body health while going through the rigors of cancer treatment and living through the disease. As a result, there are dietitians (who conduct cooking classes and give personal recommendations), massage therapy, physical therapy, yoga training, and mind/spirit counsel available. Supplements are recommended as well as a mostly vegan diet with emphasis on whole grains, vegetables, good protein and fat sources, fruits, and low-glycemic sweeteners. It is an adjustment to incorporate the dietary recommendations and exercise, but it is well worth it to help fight the cancer battle! Some people would probably give a B for punctuality, because appointment times are fluid and the IV's aren't always started or replaced on time, but that fits into the relaxed environment that is promoted.

    Block Medical Center
Although I have a scheduled "start time" for my chemotherapy visits, I'm almost always quite late because of my schedule, but it's usually never a problem.  I usually schedule either a physical therapy or yoga session as well as a massage for each appointment.  The staff is very flexible in working around these appointments.  The only issue I sometimes run into is that I need to meet with one of the doctors or the physician assistant to be cleared for treatment, and sometimes my other appointments (PT, yoga, etc) are delayed because I need to wait for this meeting. The yoga, PT, and massage have been very beneficial.  The yoga instructor is also licensed in reflexology.  All of these additional treatments have been noticeable beneficial for me.  The yoga sessions are invigorating, the massage is super relaxing, and the PT gives me some great exercise plans to do at home or the gym.  I occasionally meet with one of the mind/spirit counselors to get advice on dealing with stress or a particular "life-management" struggle that I have at the time. On most days, one of the staff dieticians prepares a lunch using "Block-approved" recipes.  This is a wonderful way to get some cooking advice and product recommendations as well as taste some of the delicious meals that we can enjoy on a healthy cancer diet.  The dieticians also offer nutritional blood testing to monitor the overall health of the body's internal environment.  Based on the results, they will recommend changes to supplements, foods, or
