  • I scheduled the appointment with Provider name locked. . over the phone after completing my moving inventory online.  In the inventory, I accurately shared that the apartment was on the third floor without an elevator, I accurately described the square footage, accurately described the furniture needing to be moved and was short approximately 20 boxes in my inventory description detailing the total number of boxes being moved.  I had a couple of questions regarding the TV's being moved in the final agreement and the Provider name locked. team was very helpful answering those questions.  
    When finalizing the details of the move over the phone, the coordinator shared that I would only need three movers, confirmed the truck size and tacked on a few extra hours for the move sharing that I would not pay for those extra hours if they weren't required.  
    The move was scheduled for the afternoon and movers arrived on time.  The gentleman in charge of the crew started to size up my apartment while asking me to sign the final paperwork and was immediately concerned.  He asked, "How many movers did you ask for?  What size truck?"  I shared that I haven't moved in years and made arrangements based on the recommendations of his office.   He shared that the truck was probably too small and he needed an extra guy for something on the third floor.  Out of earshot of the gentleman in charge of the crew, I called the Dispatch line for assistance and left a voicemail requesting an extra mover and larger truck.  Since it  was Sunday and they were closed, I did not receive a reply.  He in the meantime started moving boxes and reached out to secure another mover who did arrive at the location we moved to to help unload boxes. 
    The movers wrapped our furniture well as it did not get wet or stained with the rain.  A few of our boxes needed to be re-taped and the movers quickly discovered and sealed those boxes.  They moved all the boxes very quickly.  Also, they managed to get the majority of the boxes and furniture into the truck in one trip and parked appropriately in alleys by the new and old apartment.  We did need to return to the apartment with a Zipcar to get a few plastic tubs that ended up not fitting in the truck.
    The challenge with these movers is that they sacrificed quality for speed.  Many of our boxes were triple stacked on their backs and torn through by the straps used by the crew.  Plus, we had boxes of glassware shattered and a damaged lounge chair that had dislodged screws in the packing process.  
    It was clear that we were their last move of the day and they just moved everything too quickly. The head of the crew was upset with their home office complaining about how the office would rather schedule fewer guys for more hours.  All in all, Provider name locked. has issues between their office coordinators and moving staff that need to be remedied to ensure there's more positive customer experiences in the future.

  • It went great. the  They had company logos on them, because they are surplus, but they were high quality Provider name locked. -- much better than the cheap ones from the big box stores.
