    Mobile Hearing Inc
It was becoming obvious that my elderly father who lives in a skilled nursing facility needed hearing aids. He can't travel, so I looked for someone who could come to him. Setting up an appointment with Mobile Hearing was a breeze. On the day of the appointment, Ben and Ursula arrived on time and promptly set up their equipment. They were very patient and kind with my father, explaining every step of what they were doing, and making sure he was comfortable. They offered a variety of cost options, and throughout the process made suggestions that would reduce costs for us. I've had a couple of follow-ups with them for repairs and adjustments, and they continue to be kind, caring and professional. Do not hesitate to call Ben and Ursula - they are wonderful to work with.

Dr. Gregory Lopez ordered Xrays and MRIs to be done. Diagnosed problem and recommended treatment. Very knowledgeable in new minimally invasive back surgery techniques. Explained everything very clearly. Doesn't feel that surgery is necessary at this time, but will be in the future.

    Michelle Trandai MD
She is one of the worst doctor's ive ever had. During a procedure in which she said she would talk me through it, she was rushing and hurt me so bad i hurt my back and was crying because i felt violated. When other doctors performed that same procedure, they were gently and spoke to me during the entire procedure of what was happening, significantly less painful than with Dr Trandai. Today at my appointment which started at 10am, i didn't see the doctor until almost 1130 (1.5 hrs later) and i tell her i have to get back to work. I only mentioned this so we could move along the appointment at a quicker pace. She starts to say if i want a doctor that is on time i need to find someone else. She became irate and got up suddenly saying she needed a break. I say excuse me ive been waiting, how much longer do i have to wait? She says I dont know and tries to slam the door, but i grab it and im in the hallway right behind her. I tell her i dont appreciate the lack of professionalism. She storms off into another room. I tell the nurse Norma (she is sweet as pie) what is going on and ask her what is the doctor's problem. the doctor eventually comes back we're now two hours into the visit....and again she starts saying that i need to find another doctor because she is never on time. I stop her and tell her look treat me as if i was a patient you actually cared about and help with some kind of treatment. She says well if youre going to see your PCP then i dont need to do anything. That upset me and i said its already been two hours, i havent wasted my time here to not have some type of treatment plan in place. She starts shaking, gets an RX pad, write a script for pain killers. I never told her i was in pain. She also wrote an order for an ultrasound, which i recommended. I will never ever go back to this doctor and you shouldn't waste your time.

Very well. I first went to the Lincoln Park location and parking was going to be a hassel. I do not walk very far and I would have had to park across the street and take out my cart and it was not going to work. So I went to the Cumberland and Lawrence location and was treated very nicely. Maria is fantastic. What a great technician. Now I had my testing done at the Lincoln Park location ad wonderful young man tested me. He was great. So I now have my hearing aids that I paid for last Friday with Maria. Candy is also very good. I am happy. It wasn't that I was deaf.

The University of Chicago Medical Center
Fine. The only family practice MD at present is well qualified with 12 yrs of practice. She obtained her medical degree from Northwestern Univ. and her residency was done at Rush Medical center in Chicago. She was attentive and responded in clear understandable terms to all questions posed and advised me of her findings.

    - Appointments are easy to book (no waiting on hold) and I do not have to wait too long for an appointment - They schedule time in the morning for walk-in emergency appointments - Dr. Cohanim is friendly, listens, empathic, and has a sense of humor. She does not condescend. We usually have a discussion about what steps to take - Dr. Cohanim responds quickly to email - Dr. Cohanim prescribes the correct tests and medications - Convenience: there's a pharmacy and lab in the same building. Parking is easy I'm not always satisfied with the doctors/hospitals to which she refers me, but that could be a function of her system requiring her to refer wishin the system

Emily Rubenstein, D.O. injected Restylane under my eyes to minimize the dark circles there.  She also injected Juvederm along the top of my outer cheek bones to "lift" my cheeks and make them fuller.  The Juvederm went well with little discomfort.  The Restylane injections had more discomfort, as the filler is inserted along the undereye area, but Dr. Rubenstein works quickly to minimize this.  I could tell the difference immediately when she finished and held the mirror up for me to see the difference.  I did, however, have bruising within 48 hours that did not disappear for a week, but this wouldn't prevent me from doing this again.  Dr. Rubenstein told me that next time we will be proactive to prevent the bruising now the we know I am a "bruiser."  Her staff are friendly and discreet, as well.

Things went really well. It is just hard for them to see you. The office is okay. It is just hard to get an appointment with them. In the emergency room, I would give them an A. If you go in there and you are sick, they are good. The doctors in there do a really good job. If it is just seeing the doctor, I would give them a C because sometimes they do not tell you exactly what they would do. I do not have a problem with their billing.
