Lead Paint Removal reviews in Chicago

We are so pleased with all of the work that was done. Provider name locked. made the entire process painless and we would definitely use them again for other painting jobs.
Provider name locked. came to the house to give an estimate for the lead paint remediation work, and I also asked for a porch staining/painting estimate. He took a thorough look at what needed to be done, discussed different options with me, provided some stain color samples, and emailed a detailed estimate shortly thereafter (same or next day). His price came in well below another company's and I just got a better feeling about Provider name locked. than the other company from Provider name locked. 's attention to detail and genuine concern that the projects go well. He provided guidance on choosing stain colors, which was very helpful.
We were able to schedule the work about two weeks out, which was fine and gave me time to decide on colors. Provider name locked. put 3 stain samples on the porch to help us decide. On Day 1 someone came out to power wash the porch. He was prompt, friendly, and professional, and the wood looked brand new. The rest of the work took about two full days with two painters. They were completely professional, accommodating, and did a fantastic job.
Now I smile every time I see our front porch.

We contacted Ed to do a residential lead risk assessment for one unit and the common areas of a brick two-flat. Many older properties in Chicago have lead paint issues and soil lead contamination, and we had previously done a soil test and tested paint chips from one wall. We knew we had some lead problems. What we didn't know was how extensive the problems were within our living spaces, or where we should prioritize our efforts in terms of making our home more lead-safe. We wanted to have an expert survey the whole living area to give us a more thorough idea of the actual risks.
Ed follows a governmental protocol for lead risk assessment, and he's very efficient and professional. He was prompt, personable, and respectful. It was clear that he has a lot of expertise in this area, and he's not out to capitalize on people's paranoia. The risk assessment includes testing all painted walls, ceilings, and molding using an X-Provider name locked. fluorescence device, visually inspecting all surfaces for evidence of deterioration, performing swipe tests and taking samples to test soil, dust, and/or water, depending on the job. In our three-bedroom home the inspection took about an hour. The lab tests took about a week to come back. At that point, Ed sent us a comprehensive report showing the data from every test that he performed. The areas of high lead levels were visually highlighted, and the recommended abatement actions were listed.
For us, this was valuable information for helping us to prioritize what we need to do to make sure our home is safe. It is a relief to have actual knowledge and not to just be guessing what might be an issue and what might not.

My client was amazed. It made me look really good. They inspected the property, noted the places for potential lead in the basement. They gave my client several choices for remediation. They even had the appropriate materials with them and made the necessary repairs ON THE INITIAL VISIT. Thank Provider name locked. and B&H!- Holly D.
