  • I do not appreciate my time being wasted nor do I appreciate being lied to and would like a refund.  The representative from Provider name locked. came to our building the week of 9/28 to look at the doorbell/Provider name locked. system and offer recommendations.  He spent approximately one hour and during that time told me that Doorbell Provider name locked. was no longer in business and therefore we would need a new Provider name locked. system.
    I asked about replacing the current system with a more traditional system but he had objections to that and said it not feasible.  The building next door had the exact same system we have and they replaced it with a more traditional system for $700.00  He then told me "DoorBell Provider name locked. is NO longer in business."  I paid him $45.00 and he left.  A few days later the quote arrived for $1900.45.
    When I contacted the other provider who had given me a quote $1100.00 using the Door Bell Provider name locked. system he was appalled that a company would LIE about another company, claiming they were out of business.  I also checked and sure enough here's the link to DoorBell Provider name locked. - alive and well in Provider name locked. Illinois.  http://www.homephone.com/
    My reaction  stay clear of this unscrupulous company.  I have no doubt they will claim I am mistaken and their representative did not tell me DoorBell Provider name locked. was out of business.  If that occurs it just add more insult to the already poor service.  Makes me also question the reliability of Angie's list.

  • My wife and I met with the sales representative, Provider name locked. , twice.  We had a lengthy conversations.  After both conversations with Mr. Provider name locked. my wife and I walked away with the impression that we would have a 6 month cancellation period in which if we were unhappy with the product, we would be refunded and the system uninstalled.  Once beyond that it would go to the remaining 3 years of the contract.  
    After a few months my wife and I decided that we didn't need this system because the way it worked was not sufficient to alleviate our concerns.  The alarm takes 30 seconds to siren, and if you set it to 10 seconds or something like that you'd have to unlock your door in a frenzy to turn it off when you go grocery shopping.  So it seemed not sensible to us after all.  We called Provider name locked. back to cancel, and he sad that we couldn't.  He said that we misunderstood the contract.  This shocked me because I made him meet with us twice before even signing the contract so everything was clear.  That was the end of it.  I was stuck with a contract I didn't want at approximately $42 per month for another 2.4 or so years and $700 worth of overpriced equipment (there are much much better bargains out there than this company).
    I am not an forgiving, forgetful, or uneducated person.  This salesperson and this business did my family wrong, and I waited the entire contract;s length to cancel (did so a month ago).  I hope all consumers avoid this business in its entirety.

  • Great service. Responded quickly, set up an appointment same week. Was on time and communicative. Promptly diagnosed a problem that his competitor completely botched, and then fixed it. Then troubleshooted and repaired a bunch of other more minor issues. Got the system up and running and tested everything. Would definitely recommend.
