  • I applied for a permit and told the contractor I needed a permit before I could proceed but gave him a down payment for the materials. The next day my permit request was rejected. I immediately called Provider name locked. and he told me hadn't purchased the material yet and I asked for me check back. He told me he'd already deposited it, he told me he'd write me a check and leave it by my door. He told me that he left it by my door but I never got it, so I told him to cancel the check right away. Since then he hasn't returned any of my calls or returned my money.

  • I have used Dusan 7 (seven) times over the past four years. With a total cost of around  $7,500 . The services he has performed at my house include:
    1) Fixing a small leak from an overdriven nail in the basement. ($550)
    2) Routing HDMI cables for TV ($200)
    3) Staining my deck ($2200)
    4) Caulking the exterior walls of the house ($150)
    5) Putting a vapor Provider name locked. in basement ($4,000+)
    6) Fixing the front gate ($50)
    7) Fixing the hole in the basement bathroom ($200)
     Surprisingly, the bottom four on this list have had repeat problems and follow up appointments due to unacceptable work quality. The issues are as follows:
    4) The "caulk" used on the exterior walls was cement/concrete that did not expand or contract with temprature, leaving big cracks in the material after one season basically removing any benefit of having it done. My neighbor offered to redo it with the proper exterior caulk material for a case of beer and the material cost. Looks perfect now.
    5) The vapor Provider name locked. was put up after the analysis by Dusan that the water seepage into the walls was coming from a bad water management on the deck below. A year later the problem is still there. And there is more water in the adjacent basement bathroom wall which was "vapor barriered" and repainted as well. 
    6) Fixed an interference in my front gate by grinding down the plate. but did not put any anti-rust spray or paint after completing the job. THEN about a year later he recommends to me that the gate needs painting because its rusted. I almost laughed out loud when he said this.
    7) The most recent incident and the only reason I have been calling him back is it goes back to the #5 problem. The water issue in the walls reappeared in the basement bathroom and I asked him to come and repair it. Regardless of any warranty work, he charged me $200 and I agreed to have the wall fixed. Just before he left however he took a screwdriver and dug into the wall that he had just repaired and repainted and created a big hole in it. This is the result of what was left AFTER he fixed it then drove a screwdriver into it.  Picture:
    Of course it was unacceptable to leave the wall like this and he agreed to come and redo the entire adjacent wall at a discounted rate of $1000. Because: a) I had already paid him $200 to fix the paint into which he drove a screwdriver And b) This is still the #5 problem that I had asked him to fix and shelled out thousands of dollars for.
    Now if he had done as promised I may not have even bothered to write anything about the previous works and called it a day. However, his promise extended to no available dates for two months, then he completely stopped replying to my emails. 
    Now I have a hole in a wall CREATED by this gentleman who is suddenly unavailable to return my emails let alone come and repair it as he had promised. I suppose you live you learn. 
    I will likely find someone else to do the repair just as I have successfully fixed the other Faux pas that Provider name locked. has done over the years. I wish I would have wised up earlier. And had written warranty for some work like #5. 
    I would suggest anyone undertaking his services to do the same and have written detail for work being performed backed by some kind of warranty to back-up the repairs if the problems recur.

  • There were two guys that came out.  It took one day to do.  They were very courteous.  Gave step by step process on what they were doing.  They showed me how to work the gate when they were done.  I have had to call them back for a few quick fixes and they are always responsive and come right out. I even called them on a Saturday and they came right out.
