    Galaxy Homes Inc
They did not finish. Paid 90% and they have stopped responding. No faucets or shower door installed. Has been 8 weeks and they do not respond to email, voice mail and not answering thier phones. I think they went out of business

    Home Repairs R' Us Inc
The big box stores only cut up to 4x6 pieces of wood. And they don't cut 6x6 pieces at all. Other lumber yards refused to cut my lumber for various reasons including, the wood was not purchased at their store, or the wood was treated, or they did not want to ruin their equipment (they believed there was a possibility that some metal may have been enclosed inside of the lumber that could cause damage). Anyway, Eric made the time for me on a Sunday morning and brought his equipment with him. He did a great job cutting the lumber. I was very satisfied. He was also very professional.

    Metro Construction and Remodeling
We simply can not say enough good things about Metro Construction and the quality work that they do! We were incredibly pleased with the job that they did on the complete renovation of our basement in our Logan Square home. David and his crew were great to work with, reliable and honest. David was upfront, approachable and fair in pricing. They just do solid, quality work! We would absolutely refer them along to anyone who asked!

The process was thorough and quick. Their three step procedures let me know what had to be done, who would do the work and when. The workmen were professional and left the worksite clean. They responded to my request for little details and made sure I was ok was their work before they left.

    Tans' Quality Roofing Inc
Larry and his team were over the top communicative & professional. When they opened up the roof, they found more damage than expected, sent photos and gave a fair quote to do the other work. His team in the field, including foreman, were kind, clean and cared about their craft. I would hire them again in a minute and would recommend them to anyone looking for any/all things roofing.

    Evergreen Door & Window
The installation was excellent. This is the second time I have hired Evergreen Door and Window and each time they performed with amazing professionalism. They removed and replaced the wood entry door and the old steel security storm door with a textured 20-gauge steel entry door with all new full wood FrameSaver frame and steel security storm door. Clad exterior frame with premium aluminum and caulk with silicone.

    Maya Construction Group
Maya construction gets my unqualified best and highest recommendation. We are a legal services firm located in the Loop. We hired Maya Construction to build some custom cubicles for us. From initial phone call to final payment the relationship was professional, positive, and productive. The project moved along fast and flawlessly. Udi Yeger and his team worked effectively with the building engineer and staff and moved in and out of the construction site creating virtually no disruption to the buildings operations or to ours. Each day I prepared staff for the noise, dust and confusion I expected we would experience and each day we were all very pleasantly surprised. Udis crew consisted of skilled craftsmen who were all very well briefed on the project and executed it perfectly. I thought I would meet with frequent interruptions and questions, but after the initial discussion of project details, the team was on auto-pilot. Finally, the construction clean-up was amazing. There were a couple of surfaces to dust, and the buildings cleaning crew came in to do a thorough vacuuming, but to the eye, when Udis crew left, the site looked clean and finished.

    Tri-State Remodeling Inc
If you are reading this review, I suggest you grab a drink and a comfortable chair, it's long. We hired Tri-State after we fired a previous carpenter. Tomas, the owner, came into this first project not realizing how much work he was going to have to do because of the shoddy work of the other. He took it in stride and was honest with his time and pricing every step of the way. The doors we had custom made were all the wrong size. He took the time to resize EVERY doorframe to ensure they fit. When the french doors arrived, they too, were the wrong size. Tomas made suggestions, answered every SINGLE question I had and proceeded to do the work and do it RIGHT. He increased the width of the doorway and lowered the height. As a result of the first experience, we hired him to do more work. This time, he fixed the poor work from a floor installer who told us we could not use wood thresholds due to the type of underlayment we have. Again, Tomas got to work and the wood thresholds look great and feel much better than the metal with screws sticking up (totally serious here). He then installed the tile backsplash in our kitchen (again, a thing of beauty) and when I mentioned it felt a bit rough, he without hesitation, added a second layer of grout. He then took our master bath tub and shower down to the studs. For FOUR years, we had a slow leak from this into our basement and multiple people came in, assessed the problem and supposedly fixed it. Well, again, Tomas was the one who fixed it and did an amazing job putting in the new tile, lighting (his suggestion and a great one at that!), and the new tile. Oh and his drywall work is awesome, we can't tell where he cut into the ceiling to run the electrical for the new lighting and I swear he paints better than professional painters. If I haven't gotten my point across yet, just wait. Tomas always arrived within 15 minutes of the start time he committed to. He cleaned up after himself and even made sure I could use the tub in the evening on the days when nothing was drying or sealing. He is a very hard worker; I couldn't even get him to take a cup of hot tea this time around (he likes hot tea with honey, just a heads up). And the best thing, he tolerated our three dogs, one of which would bark at him almost every time he came in and went out of the house. He is friendly, adaptable, honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. At one point in this project, I noticed something and before I even had a chance to say anything, he had already taken care of it. When I asked him about two other potential projects around the house, he suggested our best return on investment and the one he would do next was one that wouldn't even be a job for him. He is truly a gem.

    Metro Construction and Remodeling
At this day and age many contractors do a job to get it done it and move on to their next job. Not so with Metro Construction and Remodeling. It was beyond refreshing to deal with a company that takes great pride in their work, your vision and is interested in long-term client relationship building. I have used this company for projects on multiple occasions. These projects have consisted of electrical wiring and high-end sconces in the bedroom, fabricating and installing custom medicine cabinets in the bathroom, designer ceiling fans, high-tech wifi electrical outlets, wifi networks, oled tv's and much much more. If you want a contractor that does impeccable work, but more importantly does it with integrity and compassion then I highly recommend Metro Construction and Remodeling!

    Budget Right Kitchens
Budget Right Kitchens did an outstanding job on all fronts. Every aspect of their work speaks to their high level of craftmanship, attention to details and the value they place on their customers. They brought many useful ideas and solutions to the table, did a great job of coordinating and complying with rules of my condo management company and synchronized well with my glass shower enclosure supplier. The onsite project manager was extremely conscientious and courteous and did a great job of keeping the site clean and protecting floors and walls from damage and debris throughout the project including the demolition phase. He made sure to lay out the many options I had along the way instead of just doing what was convenient for him. The general project manager was very accessible and knowledgable and was able to work around a significant delay of custom doors I ordered from another company. Everything they did or suggested was about doing the work the right way, using the right materials and techniques and not taking shortcuts. Their pricing is very reasonable when you consider the high quality work they do and the confidence I have that they did things correctly which is how I define a great value. They also don't nickle-and-dime you and are very upfront in all aspects of their fees. I would HIGHLY recommend them!
