  • Overall went well.  I think they were nice and professional.  Price inline with other body shops. The main concerns I had were it was supposed to be a 2 day job.  But it actually took 5 days.  On the 4th day when I asked about the molding it had seemed as if they forgot to do it.  The molding was not part of the original work order but was added when I dropped the car off.  So not a surprise that got overlooked.  I would use them again.

  • It went very well as usual.  They even helped me get a rental car for duration of time needed for their work, made it as convenient as they could for me.

These have been my body workers for years.  They are a family owned business, several generations by now.  They work well with insurance companies when needed.  It is a small shop where I feel completely trusting that they are working with my interest in mind, unlike how I have felt at larger body work businesses that I've been sent to by insurance companies in years past.  I always feel they are doing the best they can for me, keeping price in mind when it makes sense.

  • My catalytic converter was cut away and stolen during the night.  (apparently a rash of thefts on the NW side of the city - police had four reports before mine at 10 AM).  I called Provider name locked. after checking availability of another regular place and then seeing them on this list. After a short conversation wherein it was mentioned that they could fit the pipe by adaptation on-site and making appropriate changes to plans due to repair necessity, I went to Provider name locked. .  They are a very busy shop but I was advised that by waiting just 20 - 30 min, they could get the car on a lift to see the extent of the work.  Approximately 20 minutes later my car was on the lift, they showed me the cut away section, said they would test exhaust and muffler for leaks after replacing pipe section and converter.  Time estimate to repair: 30 min.  Completed in fewer than 30.  Total time from arrival to departure: just over an hour.

The work was immediate and well within estimated time.  The treatment as a customer was prompt, accurate and professional.  The shop is really worth having as a main source on your list of repair shops.  If there is a caveat (and this is a caveat not in any way a complaint) is that the parts price may have been slightly on the high side of availability with time to shop around.  However, it was more than worth any extra to get in and car repaired without notice or even need to leave the car - as I would have expected.  I paid $190 for parts.  A later quick, net Provider name locked. shows converters for my car selling on the net for 95 - 155.  However, getting a partial pipe replacement cannot be priced directly and I heard estimates for two who shopped for a discount converter to have it installed at $100 (I paid 90 for labour.)  So, all-in-all, this was a very reasonable price.

I'm quite happy with the result and recommend Provider name locked. .
