"He talks to you as if you are a real person. He takes his time with you, although he is retiring this year."

"Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
only received a B in availability and punctuality because he was a much sought-after neurologist and took a great deal of time (45 mins!) each appt with you. He listened intently and asked questions about your whole life, not just your disease. He could extrapolate much needed info from what seemed to be casual conversation. He was very easy to talk to and explained issues in much detail. You never felt rushed and always felt heard and understood. He would stay with you until all were comfortable and clear about the next step. He retired the end of 2010 and will be greatly missed by all his patients!"

"I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
is. I chose him because his
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
have repeatedly voted him as one of the top doctors in America. They couldn't be more RIGHT! When I see Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
he is always thorough, efficient and pleasant and he really listens to you. I have had to educate every one of my previous neurologists about a specific side effect associated with a certain common neurological medication. When I mentioned it Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
knew exactly what I was talking about and even elaborated on it. That alone was enough to impress me, and it was just the beginning. Although my treatment remains the same as before, I feel as though I can relax and trust him and don't have to always be "on guard". If you need a neurologist he is the only one to see.

"I contacted
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
for my appointment. They were able to offer several dates/times so I could select the best fit for my schedule. They call me several days in advance of appointments to remind me of date/time. I have never had to wait more than 5 mins past my appointment time to see my doctor. Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
always takes the time to discuss any problems and explains what he is prescribing and why. He's professional, courteous and listens to what I have to say. The checkout process is quick and they work with me and my crazy schedule when making my next appointment. I always appreciate their ability to see me on time and have me in and out of the office in a reasonable timeframe. There is plenty of free parking in the garage right behind the building."

"I had a horrible experience there. Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
decided to do upper body epidurals on me in his office, not in the hospital. He hit a bone, which caused the most unbearable pain, and then decided to stop and do it in the hospital instead. When I came back, I was told that they would not see me anymore because some other medicine than what he had prescribed showed up in my blood test. They would not show me the tests. I went to another doctor who said that they probably read the test incorrectly. 90 percent of the time I went there, I didn't even see the doctor, rather I saw interns or assistants. He also had a horrible bedside manner. He was arrogant, demeaning and aloof."

"I was completely comfortable. There was no pain and I was able to go home right away. He gave me one pill and there were no after effects. When I first met Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
he seemed very professional where there was no personal contact, but after I saw him a few times I found him to be very personable. He has a good bedside manner. He tells you exactly what's going on and what you have to do. He's a great guy and I am very comfortable with him."

"In a first consultation one is not sure, but I thought it went well and was looking forward to my second visit and some in-depth exams, diagnosis, prognosis, etc. I have Fibromyalgia (formerly diagnosed and treated for a few years). Dr.
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
was very thorough and I was expecting that; unfortunately didn't happen. I left with the distinct feeling nothing more was going to happen and decided later not to return for my third visit. I asked some questions about possible problems I may have... like OCD (which I feel I am at least mildly affected) but was brushed off. Rather than spending any time investigating this issue, I was simply told I was not OCD. I recall thinking that was a bit comical because while waiting for him in the exam room I had fought the urge to get up and fix a misplaced slat on the window blinds!! I have several symptoms of OCD, thus I felt continuing with this Dr. would be wasting my time. I felt a bit helpless and frustrated. I won't be returning, for I refuse to add to the Medicare
Charlotte Neurologists Provider Name Locked
just to have a 5 to 10 minute conversation with a Dr. who, like many others, is ready to go to the next exam room. Most of my time was consumed with paper work, speaking with the receptionist and talking to the medical assistant... nothing constructive for body or mind. PS. I don't recall the exact dates of my appts., but I think I was there in October and my other visit was either 3 months prior or after. Sorry I can't be more exact.
