  • Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. were very responsive to my initial inquiry for an estimate on the cost involved in refinishing the hardwood floors in my house. They arrived ahead of schedule for that appointment after calling to make sure it was okay to be early, did their measurements efficiently, and talked about the process with me...answering all my questions. Once I decided to go with them, Provider name locked. was in constant contact about fitting their schedule into mine. Provider name locked. and his crew arrived on time as promised every day and worked  diligently. Everyone I had contact with conducted themselves in a very professional, competent, yet friendly manner. The process was completed in the promised time frame with no problems, Provider name locked. stayed in contact with me from start to finsh through e mail and phone....and always returned my calls promptly. I would not hesitate to use them again!

  • We were incredibly disappointed with our decision to hire Freedom for the flooring work we wanted done in our home. We chose to hire them based on the way they presented the quality of their work and their attention to detail. They were actually the most expensive of the various estimates we received, but our initial meeting with them made us feel the most comfortable and confident in the work they would provide. Unfortunately, the attention to detail and quality of work is where we are most unhappy with our experience. I will never use them again, and would never recommend them to a friend or family member.
    To point out the positives: Provider name locked. was always very prompt to respond to phone calls/e-mails, usually getting back to us within an hour or so. And of the three times they came to our home, they were on time for 2 of the 3.
    Now on to the negatives:The crew who worked in our home was unprofessional, disrespectful of our home, and not focused on attention to detail/quality. When the work was initially performed, there were several problems - gaps between some of the laminate flooring planks, and they laid down flooring over one of our HVAC vents. The larger issue however had to do with how the floors visually looked when they were done. The workers paid no attention to the pattern of the individual planks they were laying down, so in our living room/dining room area, there are 7 "chunks" where they laid a series of 6 or more identical planks next to one another. The floors look absolutely terrible as a result. We weren't sure if we were being overly critical, so we invited several friends and family members over to look at the floors. We didn't tell them we were unhappy with anything, we were very neutral as we wanted their honest opinions. The responses they gave us were: "I hope you haven't paid them yet, because this needs to be fixed," "Guys, I really hate to be the one to tell you this, but this doesn't look right," and "Did they pay attention to what they were doing?" We voiced these concerns to Provider name locked. and she agreed to send the crew back out to the home. They fixed the area with the gaps in the planks and the vent, but said they couldn't/wouldn't do anything about the pattern. They never offered an apology for any of these mistakes, nor did they ever say to us "we want to make this right for you." They were late arriving when they came to fix the errors, and never called or apologized for that. By this point, my wife was very frustrated and rather emotional, and called Provider name locked. to try and get her involved. Provider name locked. refused to take any action to resolve the issue. I called Provider name locked. back the next day to again voice our concerns. We had a calm and productive conversation where she agreed to send a crew back out to our home, for them to remove the recently installed floors and re-do the work, and I agreed to purchase more material for them to be able to do this. She said she would call me back the next day to schedule it. At 4:30 or 5 p.m. that Friday I got an e-mail from her stating that she had gone back on her word and that no-one from her company would be coming back to our home to perform any work, all because of Provider name locked. 's interaction with my wife when she was so distraught over how beauty had been detracted from our home. This broken promise was the most disappointing thing of all to us. To this day, Provider name locked. has never come out to our home to look at the floors herself, she has never apologized that the experience has been poor, and never told us that she wanted to make things right. In addition to the problems I've already listed, the workers caused damage to our home in several areas. They drove their truck through our yard after several days of rain, they cracked two of our baseboards, and chipped the paint on our front door. We had moved all of our furniture into the garage so they could do the work, and they did all of their cutting in the driveway near the garage doors, which they left open. As a result, all of our furniture was caked in thick amounts of saw dust, which could have easily been avoided if they just closed the garage door. To me, these are all examples of small things which none on their own would have created a problem, but the combination of all of them together creates a clear pattern of carelessness. If you decide to hire them, I would make sure that you are home during all of the work and that you are closely watching each step to supervise.
    I am sorry this has been so lengthy, but I hope that others can learn from our mistake!
