I have seen Dr. Provider name locked. off and on for about 5 years now. I have an EXTREME fear of doctors which wasn't hlped any by going to the Women' Clinic across the street. Dr. Provider name locked. 's nurse has the bedside manner of a grumpy bear but Dr. Provider name locked. worked with me and found a great fit for my nurse. He has gone out of his way SEVERAL times to calm my fears and made me feel like I had some control of what was going on (since you really don't have any control when it comes to this type of medical stuff). He cares about the person he is caring for and you are not just some chart number to him! Thanks to him I have a wonderful daughter and I hope to have another baby soon. I'm sure that he prays every time we do a treatment that it will take so he doesn't have to see me but if you have to see him, know you are in GREAT hands!- TANYA P.
During my visits with Dr. Provider name locked. , she was very knowledgeable and professional. There was one thing that struck me as a little odd; she almost always said that she liked what I was wearing. This came across as a little phony. Overall, I was very satisfied with her as a doctor. I am, however, very dissatisfied with several aspects of my experience at REACH. During the infertility treatments, I often had to call the nurse and I frequently could not speak to a live person. I was required to call and leave a message on the voicemail; then the nurse would call back. If I was not at my phone when the nurse called back, she would leave a message and I would have to call back the voicemail again. REACH did not allow the nurse to be called to the phone when I called the nurse back. After surgery, Dr. Provider name locked. told me that her nurse would call the next day to check on me and schedule a follow-up. The nurse never called. The day after that, I called and left a message. When the nurse called back, she gave no explanation why she had not called after surgery. Evidently, she had more important things to do than checking on patients after surgery. Another aspect of REACH that has left me very dissatisfied is their billing department. When I first started treatment, it was unclear whether my insurance would charge a copayment, so I paid a copayment at each visit. Every time, my insurance would cover the whole bill, so I had to call REACH to request a refund. I often had to argue with the billing department to get them to refund my copayment. On my next to last appointment, I did not make a copayment. When my insurance company first processed the claim, they assessed me a copayment. Then 6 days later, they reprocessed the claim and determined that I did not owe a copayment. REACH will not accept my insurance company's determination that I don't owe a copayment. They have sent me multiple notices stating that I owe them the copayment and have threatened to send my account to collections. I have made multiple phone calls to the billing department and my insurance company. My insurance company has, at my request, contacted REACH to remind them that, under their agreement as a network provider, they are required to abide by the insurance's decision on what the member owes. REACH will not abide by that agreement. On my last visit, I paid a copayment and my insurance determined again that no copayment was due; REACH will not refund that copayment. After the 3rd month of receiving billing statements from REACH, stating that I owed them a copayment, I again called the billing department and left several messages over the course of a week and they would not return my calls. Due to my experiences with the billing department and the nurse phone line I have rated this provider a grade of D for responsiveness and an overall grade of C.- MARK AND LISA B.
There success rate is really good there. I feel like they really care. The doctors were very polite and the billing department was unorganized but they brought in a new director and they are addressing that problem.- Kaori K.
