    Monny with Matthews Appliance is a pro! He is the best (and actually the ONLY) Washer & Dryer Repair Specialist in the Charlotte area. When he came to fix my dryer, he arrived at the exact time he said he would and was friendly to deal with. It is evident that he is excellent at what he does. I wouldn't call any other (general) appliance company for my washer/dryer needs now that I know there is a specialist in town! I've heard of his reputation and am excited to share this with the neighborhood! I used to live in Johnstown, PA where we only had 1 specialist in the whole region, so finding one is rare.

    These guys are top-notch. They have demonstrated technical expertise with all kinds of household appliances. They are honest, do excellent work, and have reasonable/responsible pricing. I have reached out to them for the past few years for several large and small household appliance repairs, and they have always tried to assess my problem first by phone to determine if the issue really warrants a service call--i.e., they understand that sometimes there are lower cost or better alternatives for their customers. E.g., once I was able to fix a problem myself with a little information, and another time, they were able to confirm that the cost of a new appliance was less/more practical than fixing the one I already had. Based on how they have treated me, I will absolute call these guys the next time I have have an appliance problem.

    DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Jason Healey IS A THIEF! It gives me no pleasure to write such a negative review but I feel it is my responsibility to warn others. I paid in advance for parts to repair a microwave. Jason ended up not using the parts and promised via a text to me on Dec 5 that he would mail a refund of $87.87 that day. As of today, Dec 27 we have not received the check nor has he responded to my text to him on Dec 17 about this matter. Here���s what happened. Jason came to our home to repair a microwave oven that had stopped heating. He told me it needed two parts for a cost of $154.38 and that I needed to pay for the parts in advance which I did. When Jason came back to install the new parts, he said that he misdiagnosed the problem and that the microwave didn���t need the parts after all. He told me he would send a refund. I had to call and stay after Jason to find out when he was sending me the refund. His communication and follow up during this process was also extremely poor by missing an appointment and not returning a phone call. Finally, Jason answered his phone on December 3 and he said he would send the refund. Jason charged a second service call and deducted it from the refund amount and texted me December 5th to apologize for the delay. He said he could hand deliver the $87.87 he owed us the next day or mail it to us that day. He verified my address. I texted him back and thanked him for handling this and said he could mail it to us. As of today, December 27, we have not seen any refund from Jason. I texted him on December 17 with a reminder that we had not received our refund and told him we would seek legal action. He never responded to my text. Please do not work with this man or this company. ****Update**** ���The only issue to be resolved with Warrior Appliance is for them to mail the refund of $87.87 we are owed and they promised or they can drop it in our mailbox. They have had the correct address all along.���

    On time and did required work. I thought price charged for work performed was out of line. I did have the opportunity to just pay the $35 service call and leave it at that, but I wanted the stove fixed. He charged $85 for the replacement part and I checked online and I could have bought the same part for $22, while I realize you can get a better price online, the price for the part seemed a little out of line. Once again I could have said no and just paid the service call. I did not know the price of the part was so inexpensive till after the job was done. He said this is what he paid for the part. He said the $35 came off the cost of labor so apparently the minimum cost for labor is $135, as the total came to $185.00

    Metrolina Appliance Service Inc
    We were Mike's last service call today. He got to our home a little after five for what should have been an easy fix. Instead, he found that the dishwasher door apparatus was bent in several places and the job became much more complicated. He was thorough in figuring out how to repair the door, honest about the extent of the damage and how well the fix would work, and completely professional. The cost was super reasonable and we would definitely recommend Metrolina to anyone.
