    Weight Watchers
It's a standard Weight Watchers meeting - some new information is presented, people are invited to give their own healthy eating/cooking tips. Beth is a great meeting leader -- she has a reputation throughout the community, with everyone knowing that Beth's meeting is the one to go to. In addition to being a long-time WW rep, she is also a therapist, and her compassion, listening skills, and ability to draw out her and quot;clientsand quot; really shows.

    Get In Shape For Women
It is a small fitness studio with nutritionists and personal trainers. The programs are tailored to you and they are very effective. It is a small ratio for trainer to person. It is a franchise. They are not cheap. You have scheduled times when you are supposed to show up and they nag you if you don't.

    Weight Watchers
I went to Weight Watchers years ago. It was great while I was going there and it helped me lose weight. I'm a lifetime member now.

    Weight Watchers
I was trying to find my local Boston chapter to rate but it appears that they do not have the individual chapters here. All I can say is this program works if you are dedicated and stick with it. I feel amazing now and it was due to a combo of weight loss, exercise, chiropractic care, yoga, diet modifications (following weight watchers) and cutting out sugar from my diet. Highly recommend you find a chapter in your area for support. Looks like they have a national number listed here, but you can call and find a local place to go.

    Weight Watchers
I don’t regularly go for their meetings, but we should be going at least once a week. They are not open on Sundays. They are helpful and their exercises are very simple. The staff is very friendly and very supportive. I really like them. Weight Watchers is very non-judgmental and treat us right unlike some other places where they don’t treat us well if we don’t lose weight fast enough. Weight Watchers do charge a monthly fee, but it’s not expensive. We only have to pay for the meetings that we attend. I have subscribed to a monthly plan where I have to pay a certain amount every week even if I don’t attend the meetings. It costs less and is more convenient than handing out our credit card to them every week for a meeting. There is never a problem getting into the place.

    Nashua Athletic Club
I have been going there since January 1st of this year. excellent customer service. The owner of the club worked out a plan so I could join the club but not pay upfront. I have been using them for 6 months and he prorated me so I pay month to month. I have a personal trainer with that. I wasn't sure if I was going to be in the area very long so he worked out a program so I could pay month to month. He worked really well with me and set me up with a personal trainer, who has a degree in holistic nutrition. With her as my trainer and the diet that she recommended and her exercise routine I lost 100 lbs in 6 months. I have lost 68 lbs using other weight lose programs but the difference with this one is clinically I have made changes. Like with my cholesterol it used to be 180 and now it is down to 112. My triglycerides used to be up 180 to 250, the lowest I have had ever in my life was 120 and now I am down to 60. My blood sugar is down and my blood pressure was 130 over 82 average for the last ten years at least it has dropped down to 116 over 65. I have had results losing weight but I have never had these clinical results before. It is the combination of exercise and diet. I am eating good food now. I am changing the way I am eating. I don't eat bad stuff. I have become more muscular, lean muscles, and I am stronger then I have ever been in my life. It is an excellent group of people. It is only $30 a month. I have a reasonable rate for the personal training sessions. The personal trainer is very smart, intelligent and she knows what she is doing. She knows what it takes, is supportive and just really good. I am still losing weight and gaining muscle mass. I see the personal trainer once a week.

    WeightWatchers - Stratford
I have been using them for the last 3 years. They charge $35 per month and they have a lot of different programs. The monthly fee covers the meetings and on-line information. I think they are really easy to use.

    Weight Watchers
Overall it went poorly, but that was mostly due to my inability to stick to the program. One thing that I would like to see changed is how the staff member deals with a client who has not reached a weight-loss goal for that meeting. For me this was always very upsetting, but I felt like the staff member was just reading the numbers with no empathy for what I was facing. More than anything, this is what lead me to leave Weight Watchers. I probably need to get my head in the program before going back.
