    Rhino Rooter
Dave responded quickly after my original inquiry and schedule the appointment for the next day. He was cool with my fiance being the person to let him in and take care of the payment. He was super punctual even arriving a bit earlier than scheduled. He had my fiance call me to explain that the clog was deeper than originally expected and explained he had to apply more pressure asking if I approved his doing so. As it was the only way to ensure the drain was unclogged I obliged but I do appreciate his professionalism and transparency about the process. I got a deal via Angie's List for this job, and I would definitely hire again.

    Robco Plumbing & Heating
If you live in the city, you know how difficult it is to find qualified tradespeople willing to deal with the parking situation in Boston's neighborhoods. On top of that, finding someone who's punctual, responsive, AND does quality work at a fair price is almost like looking for a unicorn. We've worked with Jason and the team at Robco Plumbing on a number of projects, big and small. They are reliable and know their craft, plus are easy and pleasant to deal with. Most recently, a fairly benign clog in our kitchen sink wound up turning into a big headache when we realized the previous owner did a hack job connecting the garbage disposal and we couldn't easily clear the obstruction from the trap. I called Jason at 10pm that night, with a sink full of stinky water, hoping he might be able to help. Less than 18 hours later, the clog was cleared and the plumbing mistakes corrected. All that to say, If Robco ever leaves the neighborhood, we might just have to follow. Don't hesitate to hire these guys - they're top-notch.

    Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling
Some months ago we decided to have our two small bathrooms remodeled. We live in a very early 20th century house which was initially a tile factory and we are reminded daily of some of the myriad problems associated with such an old and odd dwelling. I suspect that it must be close to fifty years since the bathrooms were last renovated. We received estimates from a number of contractors. We decided on Bay State after meeting with Ray Y, the owner of the company, who impressed us with his professionalism and commitment. In addition, we consider that the estimate he provided was very fair and appropriate. The work began in late June 2019. Every step of the way Yuri, the project manager, efficiently organized the various stages of the bathroom remodeling from demo day to the finish product. He was always available to talk about the project, present the different options, troubleshoot, and answer questions with a smile. We were abroad for awhile in the middle of the renovations and Yuri reached us by text and phone when needed. He was everything, and more, that one would wish for in a project manager. David, another manager, also provided superb guidance during the work. He was excellent at assessing and solving fast and judiciously any problem small or large. He and Yuri were a great team orchestrating a complex ballet of competent craftsmen who all did a splendid job. There was Dino the electrician, Shimon and Mike the plumbers, Paolo the painter, Paul the glass specialist for the bathtub enclosure, Francis who renovated the hardwood floor next to the bathroom, and Marcio, the framing specialist. Interacting with them all and with their teams was a pleasure. But the artisan we got to know best was Darly, a very talented tiler and carpenter. Part of the Jack and Jill bathroom is located in a dormer under the roof which made everything more complicated, in particular the installation of a barn door. Darly worked with admirable patience and great skill until it hung and closed just right. All personnel were excellent and are to be recommended. So, we have a brand-new bathroom with which we are very happy. We now look forward to the renovation of the second one this fall. Its likely that it too will pose some challenges. However, we are confident that Bay State will meet them expertly and that we will have a beautiful second bathroom. A very strong recommendation for Bay State. Brendan & Simone

    Roscia's Plumbing & Heating Inc
Overall responsive and helpful. Checked out a clog which was easily remedied. The drain-o I was using must have loosened it up. Shower faucet is really old and they could not easily get a part, and a new one would be a whole other unwanted cost. He tightened it up enough to stop the leak and works fine for now. Got rid of a leak on another faucet. Not sure it was a full 2-hr gig but I think they did the job well and were flexible in dealing with issues so they earned it.

Lennie and his team did an excellent job renovating our attic. The final result is better than we could have hoped for - the pictures speak for themselves (last pic is what it looked like before). Throughout the process Lennie was open and responsive, and was happy to make alterations to the plan where necessary. He checked in with me regularly to see if I was happy with everything, and whether I had any concerns. I highly recommend Lennie to anyone, and will be using him for future projects.

If I can give then 10 stars to Sean and his team I definitely will. Sean did a fast estimate and was very accurate as well. They pulled the permits accordingly and the team was on time at the day of work. Three crewmen came out and worked really hard all day. We have been having the backup issues for a little bit over 2 years on and off and finally they helped us fixed it once in for all. Price was very reasonable. Besides, the crewmen did the pavement beautifully after they finished the job! The foreman was very knowledgable and patient and explained a lot of things to me, his teammates are very friendly as well. I very much appreciate their work and will recommend Sean Farrell and his team to anyone that I know of. Thank you guys!

I've called Sila before to work on my HVAC unit and realized they offer plumbing services when my tank-less water heater stopped working. They were able to come by that day I called to see what was wrong. Once they were onsite they deterimed my hot water valve stopped working and were able to replace it and got my hot water working in no time.

    Drain & Heating Solutions
Excellent! He examined the work, he's professional, on time, he was late by traffic but he called me and let me know, he's friendly, he gave me an estimate and try to figure out how he could save me money. He went out of his way because he don't normally do my area, he mostly do business. He cleaned up after himself. He tested his work after completing it by running the hot and cold water over and over to make sure that his work was complete.

    Rhino Rooter
We were getting backflow into the basement when the washer drained, and also during hard rains (our old house has gutters that feed into our waste pipes). First plumber couldn't find a problem and suggested getting the washer serviced. Rhino Rooter was super responsive, knew what they were looking at as soon as they walked into the basement, and fixed it immediately. They also gave us lots of useful info for good maintenance practices. They'll be my first call in the future!

    Presidential Heating and Plumbing Inc.
They came as scheduled, the work was very difficult since the location was on the basement, they took the old water heater out and they did a very good job, and they were very neat, polite and clean. I had 3 referrals from different people, and without me asking, they gave me an estimate, and that was for me, was very impressive they were honest and professional. The contact person Timothy Rager was very polite, he and his crew came on time and was very informative. They were able to put in the new water heater and it was done perfectly and the price was extremely reasonable and competitive.
