We took our beloved shih-tzu Tito to the Emergency Vet clinic in Woburn today where they kept him for 8-9 hours, ran tests for over a thousand dollars but were unable to give a diagnosis. When we finally picked him up and took him home, he drank 4 bowls of water and seemed completely dehydrated. He passed away shortly after. I called to ask if he was offered any water and was told that he was but he was in “distress” and did not have any. I cant help but wonder why wouldn't they put him on an IV for all the money they charge and will let him go with no water all day? So 1,000 dollars later, we are left with a deceased undiagnosed dog and broken hearts 💔 if you love your pet, please look for help elsewhere.

    RARE Moving & Storage
Rare Movers are exactly that; RARE.  These guys were in a word, amazing.  Hiring movers always seemed like something rich people did, but Rare Movers was completely affordable and possibly prevented me from having a heart attack from what was poised to be an overwhelming project had we done this alone.  Kamaul and Carlos were on time, efficient, thoughtful and hilarious!  Moving was actually fun! I have recommended Rare Movers to everyone I know.  I was nervous about making the move easy for them because I have never had movers, so I called Kamaul numerous times -- he was kind and patient with me each time.  I was probably annoying with my daily calls leading up to the move but if Kamaul thought so, he didn't let it show. These guys are the best humans in Boston! Hire them or you'll wish you had.

This pet had had a lot of medical care there. She also had cancer and was on chemotherapy. They were wonderful for us. The prices are a little high down there. But for what you get they've treated us very well. So I'm happy to pay that money. The price was not a problem because now I have this other pet to deal with. The price is comparable with someone else if we are just talking about the euthanasia. We are not talking about other stuff. He was cremated and we haven't gotten through with that yet. It goes through another agency. We haven't gotten the remains back yet. They handle transferring the remains and everything. I will be picking up everything there. It was a female cat. They have a special room. A big comfortable couch and nice lighting. It was a very nice room. We brought our own blanket but they had her wrapped up in an afghan and a fleece and put here on my lap. They let us be with her for as long as we wanted. So we could take our time. The doctor was extremely nice.

I used to have two cats, but they are recently deceased. We had to have them put down. We've had the cats about 17 years. They actually sent us condolence cards. For such a sad time, they were very good.

    FORGET ME NOT
They were very nice. They were considerate and it was beautifully done. You could also do a private cremation for my dog where I could witness the cremation. It was done in a very cooperative and very nice way. They were very sensitive as well.

    PLEASANT MOUNTAIN PET CEMETERY
They were very good. When they did my dog they called me almost immediately and it didn't take long at all. They said it would take two weeks, but it was actually earlier. I thought their price was very reasonable. When went to pick up my dog's ashes I thought the place was beautiful and they took care of him. They actually went to the vet and picked him up and everything. They were very professional with the way they had him boxed up and everything.

    Vetcall
We called Jake Tedaldi to put down our dog.  This was the second time he performed this service for us.  The first was 15 years before.  In both instances, Jake made a very difficult time for the dog and for us much less painful.  He was supportive and gentle and explained the process before it happened so we would know what to expect.  In both instances, our dog felt no pain from the procedure, and most importantly was allowed to pass in the comfort of his own home, the first on my lap in the back yard, the second by our side on the living room floor.  This is the worst day for a dog owner, but Jake Tedaldi by coming to the home and gently performing the task, reduces the stress for the ailing pet by keeping him in his own environment and for the pet owners by confidently and respectfully helping you through the hardest day of your pet's life. In about 10 days, our dog's ashes arrived in the mail in a tasteful mahogany box. There are less expensive way to do this, but none as gentle for the pet, or the owner.

They treat their animals as though they're their own. Everybody is well trained with animals and they're very gentle and friendly towards the animals. The prices are reasonable. The also have an emergency area in case you have an emergency with the animal.

We brought our sick cat to Ma Veterinary Referral Hospital on a Friday. He had not eaten or drank for days despite our efforts. Blood, ultrasound and other tests were run. They could not find anything substantial wrong other than dehydration and his existing medical issues. We were sent home with some medicines, the cat had fluids there and he perked up a little. They were concerned, compassionate and carring . What I find most disturbing is that there costs are outrageous. We brought our cat to our own vet two days earlier for the same reason and the exact same tests. Ma Veterinary Hospital was more than twice as much money for the exact same tests and results. As an example: We paid $125 for the ultrasound at our own vets and more than $440at Ma Referral Hospital. They need to get their prices more in line with everyone else’s. We had to return that Saturday night because the cat was in distress. He had to be put to sleep. For of course another substantial amount. When I called late that Saturday night to bring him in. The first words out of the person mouth on the other end of the phone was it will be $125 for the room plus whatever. That’s where the emphasis is in general with this place. It’s about money. I ask you are they truely compassionate? There are very few if any 24 hr Veterinary clinics open on a weekend except the several they own in the area. We love our pets and have always done what we could to save them regardless of the cost. As many of you would. But honestly they are so way over the top with their charges it’s ridiculous. Spending thousands of dollars on your pet is not an unusual amount here! They need some competition. They know people love their pets and would do anything for them. Ma Veterinary Hospital why don’t you give us all a break in our time of need!
