  • Our daughter was in the NICU for several days after birth. We were very nervous about her critical medical condition. We went to see Dr Provider name locked. a couple of days after being released. She took us under her wing and cared for our baby as if it were her own. She was very responsive to our concerns and respectful of our opinion. Our baby enjoyed a miraculous recovery, due in no small part to Dr Provider name locked. 's care.

  • She is a wonderful pediatrician. The greatest thing about her is that you get the sense that she isn't judging the kids -- whether they meet some standard. She seems to accept that there are all kinds of kids. She isn't frustrated or annoyed by a kid who is 'different.' She seems to accept the kids for who they are -- it is great to go to a pediatrician knowing you are not going to be judged.

  • Dr. Gillers is an outstanding physician and an experienced mom. Both of these were considerations when we selected her as our daughter's pediatrician, starting at birth and continuing for the last six years. She knows and remembers our daughter well, never seems rushed, and has great rapport with and empathy for kids, whether its giving a shot or asking about progress in school. We always look forward to seeing her and feel that she looks forward to seeing us, especially our daughter. My mother previously worked at Provider name locked. and recommended Dr. Gillers based on her knowledge of the staff. I wasn't sure what to expect at Provider name locked. , but as a neighbor I wanted to have health care as close by as possible for those child emergencies. In addition to Dr. Gillers we have used the urgent care facility often when our daughter was very ill and also spoken with the nurse and doctor on call, including late at night over Christmas. This has been very helpful. The facility is modern and clean and open six days a week. Provider name locked. also gave us a free book with every check up. This is one of many programs that are offered to the center's families, many of whom are low income. Provider name locked. is not a fancy suburban pediatrician's office, but it offers convenience, compassion, and excellent care. The staff are also multilingual, making it a much easier place to visit especially if one's native language is Spanish, Cape Verdean creole, or Haitian creole. They make a real effort to have native speakers on staff. There is also a lab downstairs and a pharmacy. This makes it much easier than having to go to another location for these services, especially with a sick child in tow. It's best to schedule annual appointments a few months in advance, but they have also fit us in for sick care with Dr. Gillers when possible; otherwise we see another doctor in the urgent care facility (like an emergency room clinic, but not like going to the hospital). Waits in urgent care are first come first serve and there can be up to an hour's wait, which is to be expected.
