  We heard about Dr. Pistener from another local Mom in the area. We contacted him via the Harvard Vanguard in Burlington and set up and appointment. He is super busy so appointments are not that easy to come by especially if you are looking for a food challenge. When we showed up, everyone was super-nice and the office was really kid friendly. Dr. Pistener is extremely knowledgeable and helped ease a lot of anxiety surrounding our son's food allergies. We had previously gone to the Children's Hospital but now prefer Dr. Pistener as he is much more personable, seems to know his stuff even better, and is much closer.
  I would highly recommend Dr. Pistener if you are in need of a pediatric allergist. He is very good with the kids and equaly as good with the parents! :)

  Dr Schneider is the perfect doctor.  Appointments almost always happen within a few minutes of the time they are scheduled for.  Front desk personnel are helpful and friendly.  Dr Schneider nevers leaves you feeling like she is in a hurry.   She listens very well, does a thorough exam and discusses options for plan of treatment. She is very well-informed with updates and changes in the fields of allergy and immunology. She relates well to both parents and kids.  We will be very sorry to have to find an adult practitioner when our kids are older!

  Dr. Katz depth of experience as a physician and the broad scope of knowledge related to infant and child allergy and GI problems makes him stand out in his field. We have been extremely pleased with everything he has diagnosed and done for our children including the Upper GI-Edoscopy he prformed on our infant son at NWH. His bedside manner and confidence is a perfect match. Not sure where we'd be would we we not have met him when we did.
