    She saved my life! I went to a lot of traditional MDs but no one could figure it out-my Dr Hubbuch did...she is so smart and gets right to the heart of the matter and then she tells me what to do and then I'm good. She's the best!

    I went to this practice for 10+ years. The doctor turnover is fairly high - I had 5 or so PCPs over that period. They were all good (female) doctors, but the wait times were abysmal and the communication regarding that was non-existent. I've finally given up on them. Unfortunately, it appears all practices have the same issues. What is wrong with our system!?

    My husband and I have been together for forty-five years. We met Charlie and Karen of HearMore located at 76 Bedford St. Lexington MA 02420 in October 2014.  They were recommended by our insurance provider. We met them in their Coolidge Corner office which was a short ride on the T from us in Boston. We were both fitted for a pair of hearing aids. We went back several times for adjustments. Charlie added a second setting for me so I can hear a particular woman speaker at church. The hearing aids changed our life. We enjoyed the service we have received from them and their sense of humor. Charlie even sent his son to our apartment with a replacement hearing aid. I carry their business cards in my wallet as the word is out that we are very satisfied with HearMore. One of our good friends now has a pair of hearing aids from them. We recommend HearMore to anyone.

    Dr. Lam was very caring and did excellent work on my nose. He let me know what was to be expected and even followed up with my husband after the surgery. I felt like I was in excellent hands. And my nose has healed right on schedule. I plan on coming back for my eye and sleep apnea care as well.

    Overall the staff and building are amazing. Everyone I encountered was both competent and friendly. The only challenge with appointments at Fenway is finding parking if you plan to drive. It is especially difficult when there are Red Sox games causing intense traffic.

    Michael Zimmer MD
    Dr. Zimmer has an annoying attitude that he is always right about EVERYTHING, when in fact he is not. His bedside manner is poor: he stares at his computer screen the whole time, and seems distracted when you interrupt to say something. If he makes a medical suggestion and you question him, he gets annoyed. He may be very detail-oriented (possibly OCD), but he sometimes forgets important details of your history. A two-way "conversation" with him is quite difficult, as he assumes he is a genius, and you are an imbecile.
    Zimmer is also intractable at insurance coding, and has fouled up my (free) "annual physical" claim three years in a row (though he did get it right in 2015). Here too, he claims he is always right, even when he clearly does not understand your insurance plan's specifics. He occasionally complains about ObamaCare, even though it is a substantial benefit to most patients. I had to spend a great deal of time and angst straightening out many of my claims after Dr. Zimmer mis-coded them.
    His office staff, by contrast, as extraordinarily helpful and nice, and I would MUCH rather deal with the Nurse Practitioners than the doctor. They are empathetic and skillful, and actually look you in the eye.
    This physician was lukewarmly recommended by another specialist, who indicated that Zimmer is highly detail-oriented, intelligent, and perhaps OC. I have put up with him for about four years, but am currently looking for a more patient-centered GP. I would not recommend Dr. Zimmer for anyone who knows a lot about medicine, and wants to have a cooperative doctor-patient partnership in handling their healthcare.

    The technical assistants were punctual and very thorough. The doctor was attentive and personable. She had immediate access to my computer records and followed up on a suspected problem. I also liked the fact that she is a bit conservative about the second eye surgery, considering that I had some difficulties with the first eye. She seemed to be more concerned about my safety than her income.

    I've been seeing him for about five years. He's awesome. He's very good and very thorough. It's not extremely hard to get an appointment with him -- when he gets done with my physical, he schedules next year's physical, if that's any indication.

    My last experience with him was good. I like my primary care physician a lot. He is a great guy. He is very sociable. From the handful of times that I've seen him in the recent years, he has always been very good and patient and helpful. He is good at referring me to the right doctors. I've been seeing him for about seven years. He is personable, professional and friendly. He is only there Mondays to Thursdays or something.

    I have been using him over 30 years. I have a good rapport with him; we can talk. The staff is very friendly and the office is kind of on the small side. They are going to be moving to a new building soon, but even for the small office it is well-kept. I don't know when he plans on retiring.
