Hospital Care reviews in Boston

  • It went quite well overall. I would recommend that you have your own primary care doctor involved so there is someone to review and ask questions.  There were some issues on medications following surgery that were quickly resolved. The staff and doctors are quick to assist and answer questions. The pre admission process is quite long and drawn out for at least 4-5 hours so be prepared to meet many different people.

  • Went to ER for wrist injury on a Tues evening. Was there for about 4 hrs total. The front desk wanted me to take a urine sample to ensure I wasnt pregnant before proceeding to radiology. A fruitless 1/2 hour was spent on this activity, as it took forever to get undressed myself with only 1 useable hand ...and I had no contribution to give anyway. It turned out I could have requested the xray protective covering to begin with and didnt need to go through this step. They should have given me the whole scenario up front. However, once in radiology, things went smoothly as smoothly as possible given the number of patients in the ER (about 10). Radiologist very professional-- ER doc thorough, although he wasnt aware that I already had the xray. As it turned out to be a wrist fracture, he arranged for an ortho resident to see me-- which was a good thing. The wrapping was so well done that even after a follow-up visit to an orthopedist, he didnt see the need to re-do the work of the ortho resident.

  • I have been going there for 5 1/2 months. I go there once a month for my prenatal check-ups. The experience with them has been good. My midwife is very available, and I can make appointments very easily. They have a large office building. They have crayons there for my daughter to use. The exam rooms are very clean and comfortable. They answer my questions, and make me feel comfortable. I have to wait for my appointments. I see a good midwife, so I put up with the wait.
