We were very pleased with the entire experience - scheduling the work, the price and quality of the door and the workmanship. We would absolutely recommend the services of Metro Door Boston without hesitation.

I found it odd at the outset that this company showed up to do an estimate when it was not one of the ones I contacted. However, the price was good and I went with it. The door was replaced without problem, but I wanted it painted the color it was before, and Chris offered to do it. Here is where his unprofessionalism surfaced. He kept putting off the painting job until it was winter and too cold to do it anymore, which was most frustrating to me. In the meantime, just a few weeks after the new door installation, I had to have the garage door motor replaced -- no fault of his, though I wondered why he hadn't anticipated this issue, since it seemed related to the weight of the new door. But after the initial installation of the door, it was extremely difficult to reach Chris. Emails, texts, and calls (about the motor and the painting) often went ignored. It's a miracle the new motor finally got installed. And then, when this new bill came, the charge for painting was included. Once again, it took several efforts to connect with someone but finally, the office person, Heather, responded to my inquiries about the painting charge. She even said the job could be scheduled even though it was January; I questioned that, but she said it was warm enough. But -- why am I not surprised? -- it never happened. At least the charge for the painting was finally removed from the bill for the new motor installation, and Chris promised to do the painting when it was warmer. He said he had the remains of my old door on hand for color matching. So, fast-forward a few months: now it is warmer and I have emailed twice and called once in the course of a week, with not a single response. At this point, I have had it with this company. I can understand that Chris might be busy and that this kind of thing might be a low priority, but I think I deserve the courtesy of a response. His MO seems to be not to bother responding to clients unless it involves a major order. He does not deserve to be on Angie's List.

Ronen did a fantastic job. On my first call, he answered his phone on the second ring and was able to make an appointment to come repair our garage door opener 2 days later. On the day of the service, he arrived on time, had all the parts necessary, performed the work expertly and explained what he was doing and why. Ronen was professional yet personable, and I thought the price was very fair. I would highly recommend Ronen and Mass Garage Door Experts for any garage door repair needs.

PJ did an amazing job. 13 years ago, I installed my first garage door opener. It took me all day and several mistakes along the way. PJ showed me a few things that I could have done differently. He installed a few new brackets along with the opener, making it a very quick install. I would highly recommend hiring him.

I have a 1908 house with a freestanding garage. The door was dilapidated, and basically disintegrating. I had several people look at it and many immediately started saying it was a very complicated thing. PJ just started explaining how he would do it. It was also an odd width, and many others told me I couldn't have windows in the new door, which I wanted, but Morris just got me a door with windows- no fuss. The job had to take into account disposing of the old door, and setting up a modern door in a building not exactly set up for it. There was something of a delay between the agreement and the installation, but the installation went very well, and the door is excellent. It was expensive, but not any more than any of the other estimates. I would recommend them with no reservations.

It very well. I asked for an estimate and received a quote and contract. I also received help by the Mass Garage Doors Expert on how to make this happen. I was told to get a contractor to make my garage doors shorter and wider for the new doors and electrician to put plugs on garage ceiling for the remote device. I did and also gave them each others phone numbers so they could first have the contractor make the openings shorter and wider. Then the electrician had to come put the plugs on the ceilings. I signed the contract with Mass Garage Doors Expert and paid half up front for new doors and paid the balance after the doors where installed. Four weeks later I had my garage doors installed. Mass Garage Doors Experts worked all day with out stopping to install the two garage doors I ordered with remotes. My doors look beautiful and work wonderfully. I would recommend Mass Garage Doors Expert.

On Thursday morning I called them because my garage door spring was broken and I could not open one of the garages. He said he was very busy but will come late in the day and fix it so I could take the car out. He came at the promised time and made a temporary fix. He said he will get the parts and will come next week to replace the springs. He also noticed that the other garage the spring was a bit stretched. He gave me a quote for the work. I agreed. He called on Monday and said he could come and fix it on Monday. He and came with a helper. They worked and fixed both the garages. Charged as quoted, gave me Angies list discount. All done. Great job.

He got back to me within an hour of my leaving a message. We arranged an appointment for a free estimate. He arrived a few minutes before the two-hour window. He said he could replace the cables, pulleys, and springs right then for $200. (I had seen the same work advertised for twice that.) He did not try to upsell me on a new door or anything, plus he suggested some easy maintenance we could do to keep it running smoothly. The door is working well and sounds much quieter now.

I put two new springs and two hooks into the garage so the tension would be the same on both sides of the door. Omar identified the problem and worked quickly to fix the garage door and had all the parts in his truck. In about a half an hour the garage door was fixed. He cleaned up the garage area and put all his tools away.

Ronen was extremely rude on the phone. Despite the website says, they charge for estimates and Ronen was impatient as I tried to book an appointment-- he kept correcting me. It's not today! It's tomorrow! the website says it's 10-12-- it says it right there! It may say that somewhere, but when you book it it clearly says 10:00. I have never had this kind of experience when trying to get an estimate. He finally said FIND SOMEONE ELSE! I will.
