  It went as well as it could have gone under the circumstances.  I was in a time crunch, and I'm sure if we'd had more time, Dr Johnson would have taken X-rays or even had an MRI done.  But, as I was leaving in two days' time, she did what she could.  She even came in on a Saturday morning to give me one last adjustment before we left later in the day.
  When I subsequently got to my destination, I did have an MRI to determine what the problem was, and it has been corrected.  I would go back to Dr. Johnson if I ever need chiropractic services in the future.
  The only downside is that she does not accept insurance; the office staff will submit the claim to your company, but you have to pay up front.  I think it actually comes out better if you go as a private pay customer; the rate is lower and even though you don't get any money from insurance, in my case what I did get back was less than what I would have paid as a private pay.  So if I do go back, it will be as a private pay customer.

  Koenig Wellness

  It went GREAT! Dr. Koenig was very thorough and determined the pain could be relieved through a serious of exercises. My husband followed the Dr's instructions and is feeling much better. Dr. Koenig is a great listener and takes his time in working with you to help come to a healthy solution. We highly recommend Dr. Koenig and will be back for additional services as needed.

  I always enjoy my visits with Dr. Koenig.  His office staff is excellent from the reception you receive when you walk in the door to the interaction with Terry, the nurse.  I love the atmosphere, Dr. Koenig is always attentive and makes the visit and even the adjustment as painless as possible.  I would highly recommend Koenig Wellness to anyone searching for a great Chiropractor.  I like Koenig Wellness so much I recently moved out of the Hoover area, but I still drive back to see Dr. Koenig for my adjustments.

  He not only addressed the problem I was having, but he noticed some other issues that I had not told him about and fixed those too. He has a great bedside manner and I feel 100% comfortable with him. I have so much confidence in him, I started bringing my daughter to see him for her sports injuries and now she is a patient too!   Dr. Fogo is very easy-going, making you feel at ease right off the bat.
  He uses an illustrated chart to help you indicate what areas of the body need his expertise, and also uses a 'pain scale' to help you describe the severity of the issues. He discussed my situation, told me how he intended to address the issues, and I was allowed time to make myself comfortable on the table.
  He worked quickly to insert needles, and while I've had acupuncture before, I hardly knew when Dr. Fogo was inserting the needles...he's VERY gentle. If anyone wonders what it feels like, it's like someone is tapping their skin with a fingernail. That's all.
  He set the restful music for me to listen to while I lay quietly with the needles inserted. His personalized medical chart you use also indicates the musical playlist he uses for you, so that if you don't like one, he can use another that you DO like.
  I rested face down, and when he returned, we did an additional session on my sinuses, face up.
  The way this has worked for me in the past is that when I get up I still feel the 'pinch', but it's more 'dulled-down' and your tendency is to think it didn't work; that it hurts less because you were resting. But by the next day the pain is totally gone. It just disapates throughout the day.
  Dr. Fogo got into acupuncture because of his own problems with migraine headaches. He sought out a solution and began studying the process so that he could help others. He is totally certified as a chiropractor and in acupuncture, so you get the best of both worlds under one roof. Not only that, but a certified massage therapist is also on staff for your convenience.
  I'm still pain-free, and will continue to see him on a routine basis because I constantly overwork myself.

  I really enjoyed my visit to Dr. Scott Albano's practice (which is not something you can normally say about going to the chiropractor!). He and his staff were super friendly and down to earth. It's only been one visit but I definitely feel better already! Dr. Scott did several things I considered an improvement over my old chirpractor. Ambiance may not be essential but it's also nice that his office is beautifully decorated. At the end of my appointment Dr. Scott went over my insurance coverage with me and made sure I understood what my payments were going to be. I definitely will be going back.

  I have had a great experience with Dr. Duca. His office staff is friendly and they are easy to schedule an appointment with. The office is clean, bright and the rooms are private. The wait is never long and they have tons of reading materials and a kids room to distract the little ones. Dr. Duca explains everything well and is willing to spend as much time with you as you need. When he does the adjustment, it is an immediate relief and I feel a big difference afterward.
