    Matt is knowledgable about horticulture and the needs of the landscape plantings. That is what compelled me to hire him at the beginning of the season. However, he is unresponsive and never completed the agreed upon service. I had to send multiple emails and place phone calls prior to getting an answer. Service was delayed. Spring cleanup was originally scheduled in April and at the end of June it still was not complete. The irrigation system was inspected but he never returned to perform the necessary repairs and it is now the end of June and the system is still not on. I had to email/call several times to ensure lawn mowing was to be performed on any given week. At the end of June he cancelled the contract stating that they have experienced unanticipated, substantial setbacks in our ability to provide service and he was unable to fulfill the obligation of the contract. Thank goodness I was already in contact with our old management company, and we had a contract being drawn up to take over the season.

    They installed a broken pipe underground when they installed the system last yearthat cost us 1300.00 in water bills from the city. The irrigation leak killed our Magnolia tree which we then had to pay 200.00 to be removed. We paid a plumber to inspect the house to determine what was leaking. Another 115.00. Not to mention countless hours talking to the city water department. When MVP came to fix the problem a year later after all the trouble they caused they wanted charge 140.00. For fixing their faulty work. We called them and wrote to them saying we wouldn't Persue all the damages they caused but we weren't going to pay them for fixing their faulty work. Yesterday they resent the bill with a late charge of 5.60!!!!

    The quality of the work provided was exemplary.  Tom Garver ,the company owner ,provided me with daily updates on the progress of the work.  In addition, his support staff Jose did an excellent job with my garden.  The work was was exactly what we wanted and competed to perfection.
    I also like to complement Jessica ,Tom's administrative support staff for her help during the project.  I would recommend the company to anyone desiring quality work.

    The work was impeccable. Mike, who is the owner of the company, provided the estimate and performed the work. He really worked with us to get the system we wanted. His design was great, they were very clean, and the damage to our lawn was clearly minimized. They seeded everything that was disturbed, and I can already barely tell that we had this major work done. Their price was very reasonable, and the system we got is perfect for us. I highly recommend using MVP.

    Main water line busted...I called A&A. Jerome came out to my house gave free estimate (even though I was not home) called me with price. .I checked few others decided to go with A&A called them back about a week later. They were able to come out the next day. Emailed me the proposal..had Miss Utility out in morning crew showed up at 2 pm and they were done and cleaned up by 5 pm. Pulled old water line out and ran new one under tree in front yard into the basement.No mess in house and hole in front yard covered no damage to sidewalk .

    We inherited our sprinkler system when we moved into our new house and did not know exactly what upkeep was involved. We did not winternize our sprinkler system and ended up with multiple shattered pipes. Atlantic came in and fixed the broken parts and while here made sure the sprinklers were properly placed and facing the best direction for the best watering. They were incredibly patient with us, incredibly thorough, and wonderful to work with. Orlando came to the house and we couldn't have hoped for anyone more knowledgeable, thorough and easy to work with.

    I contacted Dave Irwin, the owner, several months before the work was done to inquire about remedying a long-standing issue with poor drainage around the house.  My basement was having some moisture seeping around  window wells.  Because my house is in the middle of a slanting block , many neighbors also have had "water issues."  Dave was very confident he could remedy the situation, and after assessing the yards, he proposed installation of a pipe system that also involved the downspouts both front and back.  To access the window wells in the rear of the yard, he and his guys actually had to remove some planks from  the existing deck, because getting underneath the deck was impossible, as well as install new plastic window wells there, too.
    Others who had come out to estimate the work (and I think I had 5 over the past 2 years!) had all sorts of exotic solutions, including digging down into the foundation several feet.  A couple guys didn't even know how to approach the problem, so Dave's confidence was refreshing, as well as positive  reviews from other Angie's List customers who needed to have drainage addressed.
    All work was completed within two days, except for the deck issue. They installed the pipes in front and back yards, re-seeded the lawn, and cleaned up.  After pulling up the deck planks, I asked Dave to have his guys restain the planks, since the deck had been totally refinished the previous fall.  However, when I came home that afternoon, they had done a hurry-up job, slapping on the stain, and not sanding down some splinters or nailheads.  I called Dave, and he came over personally the next day to take a look.  Subsequently, his guys returned, replaced one of the split planks, and restained the entire area.  It wasn't perfect, but acceptable.
    Now that the snow thaw is beginning (it is Feb. 18th), we will see how all the new drainage holds up.  I am sure it will be fine.

    Called Mr. Parker and he said he would come by on Friday while we were away. He said we didn't need to be there.
    Hearing nothing by next Tuesday, I called again. It sounded like he forgot to come by. Said he would come by the next day.

    This job could not have gone more perfectly. Tony was extremely attentive and professional. Before picking our materials he consulted with us 3 times to make sure we were satisfied with all the selections. He then ordered the materials, got the permit and 2 weeks later started the job. He said it would take 2-3 days and he finished in 2 and half days. He quoted us the best price out of 4 contractors and did everything right the first time. He was on time every day and his crew worked very hard. The end result was exactly what we spoke about. He left the job site clean and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Tony and his team.

    I had written a previous review last year in which I had experienced some customer service issues, but decided to try again this year in case it was just a fluke (and because they had installed my original system). My experience was entirely different. Customer service very friendly and professional. The technician found and fixed a couple issues and was very competent. I had a few questions and he took his time to explain how the system worked, and he made sure I understood how to operate the controller. They obviously listen to customer feedback which is the mark of a great business!
