  • I can't say enough good things about them. There was a bit of a mixup about the scheduling( my fault) but to remedy the situation they worked all day Sunday ,continuing on Monday and finishing late Tuesday afternoon. They were, down to the last man ,courteous, respectful and friendly. The quality of the work is amazing. And they left my house so clean which was a pleasant surprise. Before ,I had heard horror stories about what a mess this kind of work creates but I swear my house was cleaner after they finished.
    An excellent company!

  • They arrived on time, quickly got to work and cleaned three bathrooms, my kitchen and dusted my whole house.  They were prepared to vacuum as well, but I provided them with a prioritization and told them to get as far as they could in two hours.  They were able to complete our entire list in that time and did a very good job.

  • Dealing with Grout Medic was a joke from start to finish. All of the favorable reviews below apparently were in response to Provider name locked. , who recently sold the franchise to the current operator. New management under Provider name locked. is completely incompetent and inconsiderate when it comes to scheduling. They arrived 2 hours late on their first visit on 8/10 w/o any explanation. The worker, Provider name locked. , did an adequate job sealing the shower tile where the existing grout was improperly applied but there was no obvious improvement in the floor tile which I had asked them to clean and seal. It still looked gray and I was not happy about it. I called to request a follow-up visit and that’s where the real comedy began. No one returned my calls even after I called the 1800 number nearly every day. Since this is a chain, the answering service got to know me and even they said they couldn’t get a response from Provider name locked. . Finally managed to schedule a repeat visit on 8/22, but the worker showed up 6, yes SIX, hours late. Again, no apology or explanation: they simply showed up assuming someone was at home, which I wasn’t since I gave up waiting and went to work. Didn’t even have the common courtesy to call to tell me they were running late. Once again, I called both the 1800 number and the franchise operator about a dozen times over the next few weeks to schedule a visit. I emailed Provider name locked. at his personal account (provided by the answering service), and got no response. Finally the answering service told me there was nothing they could do and to call their corporate office in TX. Only after I told a manager Provider name locked. (a very nice woman btw) that I was about to post a scathing Angies List review did I finally get a response from Provider name locked. . His response? He said he never received any of my voicemails or emails and must have called the wrong number. Funny, because I have a record of all the calls I made to his cell phone in my call history and the email I sent him on 8/22 when they showed up 6 hours late (Provider name locked. love technology!) Finally, even if he did fail to get any of my messages, there’s no excusing the fact they were HOURS late each time and didn’t bother calling. In sum, dealing with Grout Medic was a huge time-suck and a colossal pain. What a shame, because it appears from earlier reviews that what was once a highly regarded business is now going downhill. I finally got my follow-up visit on 9/13. They re-cleaned the floor tile grout, but in the process scratched the h*** out of the tile. Thanks to Grout Medic, my lovely black and white basketweave marble tile now has deep scratches in it. The fact that I have to live with the damaged tile every time I look at it is the worst part of all.

One more tip:  if you have a Grout Medic coupon, do not tell them you want to use it until it’s time for payment. They pretty much admitted to me that they would have jacked up their estimate by $50 if they had known I was going to use mine when I wrote the check. So if you decide to hire these guys after reading this, good luck and allow yourself plenty of free time waiting for them to show up—if they bother.
