Mr. Handyman of Northern Baltimore County
I did not hire them because the rates are very high. $174 for first hour and $124 for each hour after that and can be billed in 15 minutes increments. They also charge by the hour to shop for your supplies and the is a mark up charge. Also they don't come out to do free estimates, you have to send them pictures. I would recommend.

    Hands On Painters Inc
Patch boys was here on time. They explained how much the job would cost me and how long the job would take. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves all three days that they were here

This man stole thousands of dollars from us. We fired him 6 months in to what was supposed to be a 4-6 week job after only doing a fraction of the work...all done out of order with constant delays. The owner Mr Borman, is a dishonest and incompetent con who wont return our money. He has devalued our property and brought great hardship.

    Andersen Woodworking & Remodeling LLC
Mark and his team absolutely exceeded our expectations. He was efficient and quick. He does not need to rely on subs as he knows how to do all of the complex work himself. The kitchen turned out beautifully. His professionalism and responsiveness second to none

    Dimitri's Home Improvement Inc
Everything about Dimitri's company is the absolute best. Dimitri and his sons and employees are very knowledgeable, hard-working, respectful and they did a fabulous job with my bathroom. This bathroom had been previously gutted by someone else so everything in there had to be done. New plumbing and electrics had to be installed as well as new tiles on the floor and on the walls. They put in a new shower, toilet and vanity -and now I have the most gorgeous bathroom, I love it. The men always arrived when they said they would; they are very friendly and kind as well as being courteous. This is a family business and Dimitri and his sons all work together, to get the job done. These guys are truly professionals. Dimitri, his sons and family have a wide knowledge of renovations and a wide range of skills. As a result of their great work in my home, I also asked them to install two custom storm doors, back and front and now I am getting a quote for a new deck and covered porch. I trust Dimitri's company to do a great job no matter what it is - a complete renovation or a small job and as such I highly recommend the company. These guys are my heroes!!

    Remodel USA
The sales person, Suzy, described their process, (which turned out to be mostly accurate), and suggested materials, which I chose (which turned out to mostly the ones available). The linoleum I chose did not look much like the picture she showed from the Web, but it's OK. There was a bit more time than promised between her visit and the call from the office, but not much. My construction manager was Jason, and he was here every day and made sure that all worked well. Ryan was my installer. Everything is wonderful; the cabinets are great and the installed tile is really striking. Ryan cleaned up every day, came promptly, and did excellent work. The only negative things are that the cabinets (by Wolf) have "moveable" shelves that are so hard to move that each one takes about 10 minutes of sweat-inducing strain to unfasten. They want their shelves to be sturdy, and they could accomplish that with the same system, but make the shelves about 1/8 of an inch shorter. Also some quarter round still needs to be put in the closet. One of the electrical outlets took some adjusting because it was set too deep. Remodel USA will do the kitchen etc, but does not paint, so we spent a fair amount of time cleaning, priming, and repainting the walls and some woodwork. I worked on some other parts that were difficult (electrical and heating), but that is because it's an old house.

    ARGO Remodeling & Handymen LLC
Superb job, highest recommendation - from first meeting to work completion, ARGO knows customer service. Wally and Jeff did a great job and Bob made sure I was satisfied with the work. Wally solved problems that came up with repairs smartly and with common sense and he did the best drywall repairs I've ever seen. Hire these guys, you won't regret it! Outstanding workmanship and pride in their work.

    R & A Home Improvement LLC
We found out about this company from a coworker and hired them to repair our basement after the flood in May 2018. They repaired the walls, put down a new floor, and replaced all of the moulding around the doors and the baseboards. They did such a fantastic job, that when we something happen in the kitchen and we decided to do some repairs we hired R and A again. The scheduling worked out that we would be on vacation when he had an opening so we left him with a key to the house. When we returned, all of the repairs were done and the kitchen was clean with no trace he had been there. For this job we had an old wall exhaust fan removed and the resulting hole filled in, plaster wall repair, a doorway opening that is the walkway to the dining room and the space over the bar all repaired and squared off, electrical moved so we could plug the over the counter microwave into an outlet in a cabinet, moved another outlet in the plaster wall, and a bunch of other miscellaneous repairs. Once these were done we decided to finish off a remodel of the rest of the kitchen. They took out the bar, pulled up the multilayered linoleum, put down a new sub-floor, leveled the floor, laid a new floor, installed cabinets, put in a dishwasher and garbage disposal, took care of all of the plumbing needs, repaired the plaster wall where water had leaked, installed a back splash and took care of all other miscellaneous repairs that were needed. Every time with every job they were on time, came to work each day until the job was done (no putting our job on hold to work on something else in between), cleaned up after themselves, and stored their equipment neatly out of the way. We have a few other projects in mind and we wouldn't hesitate to call R and A for them.

    Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc
My experience with Taylor made was better than I could have imagined. They are pricier than many other options out there, but you get what you pay for, and much more. Description of the project: Drywall and paint throughout the house, plus an assortment of additional projects throughout the house, like adding light fixtures, putting in carpet, redoing hardwood floors etc. The price tag from Taylor Made almost caused me to look for another options, but I stuck with Taylor made, and Im glad I did. Some highlights: Our project was a big one. As things came up, Taylor Made addressed them, or made recommendations on how best to address them. We got more value for the price tag that I thought I would get when the project began. Communication is my pet peeve with contractors, and Taylor Made used an assortment of communication methods to ensure that I was up to date on what was going on, and to allow me to chime in when I needed to. We used phone calls, emails, text messages, and even a software tool called Co-Construct ([*** Link removed ***] The software was especially helpful. Taylor Made put picture and updates on the website almost daily. There is also a messaging section that allowed everyone working on the project to see the communication all in one place. And there is a mobile app which is always useful. The schedule, which we all know changes all the time with large projects like this, was either followed as originally scheduled, or adjusted as I requested. The incredible communication allowed for Taylor Made to even get ahead of schedule at times, but only with my approval. The project finished on the date it was supposed to, even though I asked Taylor Made to not work for a few days for my own convenience. This was an unplanned change request I made, and Taylor Made was able to accommodate me on the fly. The crew was great. They were extremely respectful of the fact that my family and I were in the house during all of this work. And in terms of cleanliness, the project ran almost two months, and we had one day where the house was not left extremely clean. I cannot ask for much more than that. Kevin Taylor, who came in and sold us the job, was always available to help at any point. He did not disappear as many general contractors tend to do during projects. And most importantly, the project was completed with better quality than any home improvement/repair project I have ever had done. And its not even close. One lowlight, which isnt even that low: The crew accidentally spilled some paint on my driveway. But, instead of hoping I wouldnt notice or dodging it, they called me to tell me about it before I could even notice it. They told me immediately that they would address it by power washing it. Then power washing did not work, so they added some asphalt over the top and it looks great. So even when the crew made a mistake (which will happen at some point over a couple of months), they not only fixed it, but they were proactive about it. Again, I cannot ask for much more than that. Overall, if you want quality work, Taylor Made should be your choice. I know this sounds like a commercial, but I can tell you real life (scary) stories of how awful previous experiences have been for me with these types of projects, which is why Im so grateful I found a quality and trustworthy contractor like Taylor Made.
