  • He did an alignment and evaluation. I have been going to him for some time now and I am feeling a whole lot better. When I first went to him I hurt so badly. He does very personal service, he really listens to you and he educates you as you go along. There is not a long wait and he is very accommodating. The staff is friendly and makes you feel very comfortable.

  • I have had a very negative experience with Chesapeake Family Wellness and found Dr. Cloquitt’s staff to be unresponsive and unprofessional. I am young and healthy person and I have been getting an occasional adjustment from another chiropractor for years. Being relatively new to the area, I went into this clinic a few months ago for an initial visit after seeing their advertisement for a free exam and consultation. I was pretty underwhelmed by the whole experience. The facility itself looked a bit outdated and little bit difficult to find in my opinion. Having had x-rays taken recently at another facility, I brought these with me for the chiropractic to review (this will become an important fact later). Dr. Cloquitt spent a few minutes with me and for what it is worth; he seemed like a nice guy. I think I went in mid-week and as I was leaving the receptionist, Provider name locked. , asked when I wanted my next appointment. I said maybe next Monday. She asked me if I wanted to wait that long and I found her “suggestion” to be a little high-pressure for my taste. Needless to say, I will never go to this clinic again. 
    A few weeks after my first visit, I received an invoice for over $400 dollars. My insurance company was billed for x-rays that were not taken at this office and for a consultation that (as advertised on their website should have been free for a new patient like me). Provider name locked. provided me with blatantly incorrect information regarding this issue and I felt that she failed to respond to my questions in a direct and meaningful way. A few days ago, I received a letter from these folks telling me to pay them in 15 days or they will send me to collections. And again, when contacting Provider name locked. again for a timely resolution to this matter she told me that my case was refereed to their “Executive Director”. 
    Give me a break! This doctor incorrectly billed my insurance for services not rendered in his office and is not honoring an advertised special. I understand that businesses sometimes make mistakes but this situation has only been aggravated by the poor customer service they have provided. I have already reported this billing discrepancy to my insurance company and will be filing formal complaints against this office with the appropriate regulatory authorities. I would not recommend Dr. Provider name locked. to anyone.

    She really cares about all of her patients. Everyone in the office welcomes me warmly whenever I enter. Even patients are kind and friendly to other patients. 

    Dr. Provider name locked. always takes the time to talk and find out what is really going on before treating me. She is empathetic and offers wonderful sugggestions for overall health. I now send her copies of any tests (blood tests, MRIs, mamograms) because I value her opinion. She does not try to treat things unrelated to chiropractic, but she gives great recommendations. For instance, when I needed a double knee replacement, she did not try to convince me that chiropractic would solve the problem. Instead, she gave me the name of a great surgeon.
