Basement Waterproofing reviews in Baltimore

These guys were excellent. I had originally hired them because I needed a major rush job done and they pulled it off. Then they
continued after the main issue was resolved and came back multiple times to do an extremely thorough job waterproofing the basement. Whereas we would find puddles down there before, we have not had any issues since they were there. They did all kinds of things – from putting some kind of stripping on the base of the walls to building an entire roof over my back stairs to adding a French drain to putting covers on all the basement windows. And they did all this for significantly less money than other companies quoted us - and those other guys did not offer nearly as much work! Incredible.
The one lack I would say this company had was the timing issue. On more than one occasion were told they were on their way, but they only showed up hours later. Also, sometimes they would be working in the basement and kind of just disappear without the work being finished, later explaining they had to run to another job. All of which was fine with me – after the initial work, we weren’t in a big rush. But it is something to note.
Notwithstanding that issue, we were very pleased and are recommending them to anyone who asks about such services.

Bill Provider name locked. came out to the house to view the site and talk with me about the job. It was a good interaction and he seemed interested in the work. He then emailed a drawing and estimate for the work. I followed up with some questions and a more complete drawing of my own. Another employee responded to my email, saying that Bill was out of the office but would get back to me soon. I hadn't heard anything in a week, so emailed him again. I didn't receive a response to that email and decided Provider name locked. was no longer interested in the job. I understand a company can't do every job, but a quick response letting me know that would have been appreciated.

Cliff couldn't have been nicer. When I explained that the house's sellers wanted an estimate of how much it would cost to protect it against water infiltration and mold, he sketched out a picture and explained step by step all of the repairs that could be needed. He provided me with a very detailed, tiered estimate that I felt comfortable passing along to the sellers.
What I liked most about Cliff and Provider name locked. is the straightforward answers he gave me--he addressed the problem I wanted fixed and didn't beat around the bush about what that could entail. He explained WHY he recommended what he did in a clear way that made sense to someone who is very unfamiliar with home improvement. He also offered to speak with the sellers should they have any additional questions.
If the sellers decide to fix the mold issue, I'll recommend that they choose Cliff to do the work!
