    Oriole Basement Waterproofing
These guys are the best! The finished product of cementing the floor where drain pipe was laid was superb. The contractor I hired to install carpet and tile complimented their work and said it was the best he has ever seen. I had a crack in a wall behind my water heater and they fixed that and to date, a nice dry basement! Oriole is number one!

We had ground water coming into our basement and called StopLeak to come and help us resolve it. They were great from the moment we called. The day they came, they were able to get a crew there that same night to rip up the wet floors and walls and start diagnosing the problem. From there we had a waterproofing crew spend a couple of days building a french drain and installing a sump pump to keep this kind of thing from never happening again. They also offer a reconstruction service so you can deal with the same people the whole time. This was obviously not what we wanted to have happen, but I am glad we called them as the people were fantastic. The work was solid and we felt very well taken care of. I'll say this the guys who work there like the work they do and seem to like working with each other. You don't always see that in this kind of work. I highly recommend StopLeak should you have water coming into your home via ground water, a crack in a wall or anything else.

It went okay and we are currently happy with the waterproofing that was completed! However, there were issues - most minor but we haven't anything to compare as this was the first time having contractors complete basement work for us. They were flexible given unexpected issues that came about with the basement. The waterproofing was done first; overall they did a great job. There were a few issues with the waterproofing part of the project: 1. The best place to put the sump pump. This couldve been resolved if the company pre-emptively discussed and had a plan for this particular piece of the project reviewing the said property ahead of time.2. The upper finished wall throughout the basement was damaged in random spots b/c additional bottom drywall had to be removed in order to complete the waterproofing project. This has brought on additional work for us sanding and painting which was not planned. This was a point of contention b/c the when brought to their attention, they said this was just normal "wear & tear"! This wasn't the case at all. I would recommend anyone having this work done to take before pictures of what will not be touched that way the above reasoning can be argued. The basement remodel (finishing) piece took well over a week to complete when the expectation was up to 3 full days. Mainly the issue was manpower; their "crew" consisted of one guy doing majority work daily. The other issue was communication and lack of it with actual individual completing the work. The day we received the text that he had completed the project, we were super excited! Once we returned home, we found that the bath only had half the flooring completed, no bathroom door and some other minor issues to address. This was super disappointing along with the damage to the upper wall in our basement. We would probably try a different company next time.

    Best Buy Waterproofing, LLC
Best Buy did a great job replacing my roof and waterproofing my basement! They came the next day, covered all of my furniture, brought tarps for the floors and when they were done, it was professionally cleaned up like I didn't have any work done! They brought a dumpster for debris when doing my roof and I have never had a company pay so much attention to detail! I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a leak in the basement wall when it rained. The guys did a great job of finding the issue and making the needed repairs. The wall looks great and no more leaks! Great customer service and friendly and helpful staff. Ill definitely go with them again if I need any other repairs!

    Floodbusters Inc
Having had considerable basement issues with water I utilized the services of FloodBuster's to assist in waterproofing and correcting my problem. With a major iron ore issue we we're finally able to install a system that allowed for cleanout and maintenance and prevent the continual flooding and water damage that I had experienced. While this was a challenging process and required a few corrections Floodbuster's worked with us along the way providing quality work at times below cost corrections to ensure that my waterproofing challenges were complete. I would recommend them especially in challenging situations.

Floodbusters did an excellent job sealing the water out of our basement. They installed a sump pump and drainage system which they check annually. We were very happy with their service. Employees were polite and knowledgable. We highly recommend them.

    Brother's Waterproofing, LLC
Brothers Waterproofing handled a host of foundation and water drainage and piping issues that needed to be controlled for our house, a Victorian cottage built in the late 1800s, which seems to sit on top of an underground spring. The cellar under the kitchen houses the boiler and hot water heater. Brothers replaced the cement walkways to the front porch steps and around one side and the back of the house, with drainage piping placed underneath the side to take the water from the downspouts. The driveway side of the house also required a drain, piping, and cement so downspout and driveway water could flow through the drain and away from the house. The interior job required underpinning the cellar foundation and replacing the footers, as well as reconstructing the water drainage and piping system around the cellar walls and under the cement floor, adding a superior sump with controller and battery backup. It also involved overhauling two crawl spaces and adding a dehumidifier. The job required our plumber to reposition the hot water heater to allow its continuing operation, essential since the job took several months to complete, and a carpenter to put in a new stairway. Patience paid off. Now the basement is dry way drier than it has ever been. The plumber and our furnace maintenance provider both have commented on its improvement. The sump and dehumidifier are operating very efficiently. The controller operates through the rechargeable battery back up system, and both the controller and battery have alarms to warn if there are problems. John of Brothers and his subcontractor were very responsive to my concerns and if you are someone with some of these water problems you can imagine that the concerns were numerous. The sump drains water almost hourly when needed. We have not yet had a power outage so the system has not been tested in those circumstances. When it is, you might get an update from us.

The project kept costing more and more money. Plans that the original guy said would be done and included in the price were not kept once the project started. The basement was done well and was definitely improved but issues/questions long after the project was done went unanswered. Once your project is done, do not expect to ever hear from them again. Many calls were placed, all to no avail. Word on the street says they are extremely busy with new customers and just don't have time for you once they have your money. I would have recommended not long after the waterproofing but not now. To be a Christian organization, they do not care once you've paid. Beware.
