    Meeks Contracting
I reached out to Stacy Meeks of Meeks Contracting. He responded immediately and offered to come right out. Not only did did he repair the welds but came prepared to touch up the paint and did some metal cutting too. It was a great customer experience and we would use him again anytime.

    The Perez Brothers Welding
They came out and gave us a quote to get the work done and then showed up on time and completed the job. The fence looked great when they were done and the gate functioned perfectly. I would not hesitate to call them again if I were to ever need welding done again.

    Blue Collar Welding LLC
My job was a small one but I did get an opportunity to see some of his other work and I was so impressed by Justin's artistic ability...he is GOOD, HONEST, and fair with his pricing. It is difficult to find someone who knows this trade and Justin does...I will definitely recommend and use him again!

    ABERNATHY WELDING SERVICE
Dale Abernathy handles all calls and is easy to connect with.  He has been very responsive and straight forward regarding service/repair timelines.  Discusses options once the matter is evaluated.

We have worked on various projects over the years.  Always delivered as specified.   Has offered updated recommendations and will price any consideration with no salesman pressure.  I have not chosen to go with some of the available items out there but glad to know my options.

Works on my second home in Hill Country, and has respected time and access based upon my time availability limitations.

    Munoz Ironwork

Fernando's team showed up promptly at 9 am as agreed. They communicated the details of the work which included cutting and digging out the old post, detaching the hinges to the gate. They cemented in the new post, welded the post to the fence, replaced the hinges to gate while making  sure the fence and the gate were level at each step. Last, they painted the welded areas to match the fence and gate. They were extremely professional and courteous.

    Spicewood Metalworks
It was a little rough working with Spicewood Metalworks in the beginning because of some sudden staff changes. The guy that I was working with that originally came out to do the inspection and to give me a quote quit suddenly. The company didn't seem to be able to keep up with all the work that this guy had left so it took what seemed like forever to finally get back on the schedule to get the work done. I think they should have had a better plan for continuing operations in situations like that by maybe subcontracting or something. In the end, however, all was well - we changed the design of the stairs from the original design so they are now more sturdy, safer and will last a lot longer. And the new stairs also give the property a very nice looking and quot;curb appealand quot;. Overall, I'm very happy with the job and referred Spicewood Metalworks to the other owners in my complex!

    Eclipse Landscape & Construction
I cannot give a higher recommendation for Eclipse Landscape & Construction.   I had a bid from another contractor that was slightly less, but Shawn helped develop the concept of what I was looking for.  He gave suggestions that I had not even thought of.  I am absolutely delighted with the end result.
Also, I have come to believe that Shawn is a perfectionist.  If the slightest thing is not to his (or my) liking, he will do whatever it takes to make it right, even if it costs him some profit.

    Garzez Modern Welding
We saw Mr. Garzez's work on eBay, and contacted him to make a wrought-iron door for a house under construction. He took our call right away, and was eager to get our business. Only after the deadline had passed for the delivery of the door did we finnaly receive it.  It was  (1) late; (2) not as attractive or well-made as we hoped; and (3) lacked a cut-out for a door lock (the handle-hole was there, but no side cut for a lock). Caveat emptor: Mr. Garzez's prices SEEM good, but once he agreed to make our door, he stopped taking our phone calls (we called only when the delivery date was rapidly approaching). We had to use multiple cell phones to get his attention, including ones out of our area code--the phone calls from our area code went strangely unanswered. We suspected that he was dodging our calls, while answering calls from other area codes in order to secure new business. If so, this is the definition of unprofessional behavior.
Our advice to anyone thinking about ordering a door or railing from Mr. Garzez: (1) add a month or two to the promised time; (2) purchase multiple cell phones, from multiple area codes, in order to get through to him once he's missed that deadline; and (3) expect the workmanship to be just average.
In the end, we got a low-priced door, but wound up paying for it because of the delays to our home construction. I would not repeat that mistake, and would warn others from doing so.

    LANE METAL WORKS
We thought they were fantastic.  My wife and I had a utility gate installed in our house.  The time they contacted and the time they worked was about two weeks and they were professional.  We were very happy with everything they did, their communication and everything. The only problem they ran into is we have a lot of rock in the soil so it took them a little longer to drill down into the ground and once they got it they were fine.

    Whirlwind Steel Buildings
Whirlwind Steel Buildings we had no problem what so ever with them.  That's with changing salesmen in between and building, they were great.  Actually ended up calling us back a month after and added us to their annual brochure that they hand out to all their customers.  There was a write up about our building.  They were great.  The work was done approximately under a year, the building has been up for seven months.  We spent over $10,000 with them.  They are very efficient, very good.  I researched 24 steel building companies and they probably came in about $9800 less.  So almost $10,000 less.  It's a huge difference.  It was an excellent experience and we have referred them to other people.  We had a really good experience with them.
