    OneGuard Home Warranties
The process was very smooth. A technician came to check out the appliance. It was determined (after a few days) that a replacement part wasn't available. OneGuard offered a particular model to replace it or its equivalent value at HomeDepot. I chose the replacement. The technicians came to install it and made fast work of it. It couldn't have been easier. Jerry, OneGuard's facilitator, was very attentive.

    Mr. Appliance of Austin
First time I called no one answered phone - just rang repeatedly. Second time I called woman wasnt very polite and put me on hold and then disconnected the call. Third time Incalled no one answered phone. So I called another company.

    Mr. Appliance of Austin
Very well. Very knowledgeable, courteous, informative. Many of the appliances are old. I appreciate that they try hard to fix it first. But if the repair and parts will be expensive they will weigh the cost of an expensive repair versus buying a new one. I appreciate having options. They haven't steered me wrong and I trust them.

A-Plus Air Conditioning & Home Solutions
Everything about my experience was positive. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. They arrived promptly and didn't dilly dally. While they were here, they told me of other services they provide so I showed them our loose fence posts. I was so pleased with their service on the fan and the quote for fence repair that they are coming out to work on our fence. This is going to be my go-to vendor for home repairs. I am very happy with their service, response time, and prices.

    Excalibur Plumbing
Richard did an excellent job installing the new faucet and flushing out the hot water heater. Hot water takes only a minute to flow to faucets. This is the second time I have used Excalibur plumbing. They are very professional and knowledgeable and their prices are very reasonable. Another plumber wanted $900 to replace the bathroom fixture.

    AAA All Brands Appliance
The owner came out within a few days of the request. He said that the wine fridge needed a new thermostat, which he would have to order. About a month later, I called to status the situation and he said he would check the next day to see if the part had come in. I never heard back. Ic alled back recently and left a long message. I told them I was inquiring if the part had ever come in and that if I didn't hear back, I would call someone else. He never called me back. So, despite good service up front, they never followed through with the work promised and stopped communicating. I am disappointed that this company is on Angies List!

    AAA All Brands Appliance
Me: Hi, when can we meet? Them: Oh, we should be out in that direction later today **radio silence for 5 days** Me: Hi, why haven't I heard back from you? Them: Oh, we haven't been out that way yet. Me: Well this issue is time sensitive can we make an appointment to meet? Them: Sure we'll call you Monday. Me: No, I need to a set date and time to meet and get this taken care of. WHEN on Monday? Them: I said we'll call you Monday. Well, he did call, then came out Tuesday afternoon, and if you think this guy was already pretty bad on the phone, he was absolutely unbelievably unprofessional in person. I told him the stove worked, but that the gas company had tagged it saying there was a bad valve. He said "If it turns on it's fine. I drove out here all the way from Round Rock for THIS? You're wasting my time." He wouldn't even check out the problem. I had also an ice maker issue, and seeing as how he's an appliance repair service, asked if he could also take a look at and possibly fix that issue instead? The answer, "I don't work on LG appliances." In short, I received no service from this guy, and absolutely zero professionalism. I want my Money back.

    Sears Appliance Repair
I called up Sears because a) I bought the dryer from them and b) in the past, the technicians that showed up to service or repair it (or the washer) knew the product and did a good job. This technician seemed to be a generalist who didn't seem trained on this unit. He was eventually able to get it done, but it took longer and cost more than I expected (and the door seems a little bit loose to me now, although functional). And I had to help! I was disappointed because I expected better using Sears and I felt I got the quality of just calling up anyone.

    Sears Appliance Repair
The first service was fine. Ice machine replaced but the problem of ice shoot still didn't work. Called for second service because they didn't fix all the problems the first time and the second guy wanted to charge me a full service charge, again ($300 plus) and parts (a small clipping from a plastic straw....pennies worth). I argued the price because I had to call them twice for a small fix that wasn't done with one visit. I will never use Sears service again.....what a rip off!!

    James C Beardsley Appliance Service
James was frank and professional. After determining he couldn't fix the dishwasher without parts, he got back to me and told me the cost of the repair would likely approach 2/3 to 3/4 the cost of a new machine. He said he could do the repair but realistically it wouldn't be worth it to me. I appreciated him promptly returning all my phone calls and voice mails during the process and would use him again.
