Was a pleasant experience after buying a new home, which can be stressful. Very happy with the quality of work, communication, and excellent work. The patio is exactly what I was wanting, and the lights add a great touch. Happy to recommend.

Two technicians evaluated the problem and determined that the sewer system was again working properly and repairs were not needed. No charge for the service call/ diagnostic visit! Technicians manner was professional and attentive.

Lupe, the owner, was very responsive to all our calls when something would come up during the remodel. His prices were very fare and his workmanship is spot on. We definitely would use Crystal Plumbing again for any of our plumbing needs! We highly recommend them.

    Choice Home Warranty
Okay, but upon review of Choice Home Warranty, I decided that it was better for me to self-insure. The caps and exclusions and the reviews of the Choice Warranty customers combined to cause me to cancel the new contract,

I am so very pleased with the final outcome. I had difficulty deciding exactly what stone I wanted, but Jodi was so patient. When not at the job site, Jodi kept in constant contact with her crew. Anytime I had a question/concern, she addressed it immediately. I will most certainly use Jodi for future projects.

Austin Area Plumbing & Drain Cleaning, LLC
Late on a Friday night my daughter called and said her electric water heater had a smell like plastic burning. I told her to turn it off at the breaker. Later she said the water heater had water spewing out of the top for a while. The next morning I called Austin Area Plumbing and told the lady who answered the phone that the unit was at least 15 years old and needed to be replaced. Also I wanted it to be checked because the inlet and outlet pipes were still hot to the touch. She was able to schedule a plumber to come out that day. Mycol arrived shortly after noon. I told him that if available I wanted a replacement unit with a long warranty, a drain pan, and an expansion tank. A unit was available, and Mycol gave me an estimate for the complete project. The work was completed that day at the price quoted. Mycol did an excellent and very professional job.

It was great and Sean and crew were very good! I did give a 'B' for punctuality because the crew arrived several hours after the prescheduled time and stayed pretty late in to the evening. However, other than that - outstanding! Old saying "Don't sweat the small things."

    Texas APS
We have American Home Shield (AHS) and they assigned a company to come out and identify the problem. They speculated that it might be necessary to tear up the tile floor and air hammer out our chisel out concrete to get to the leak. However, it appeared that the leak was around the coupling just as it entered the floor. But it looked like a potentially expensive job and they quoted me $1800 to fix it. When I found out who would do the work and not the "older guy" who came out, I told AHS that I wanted to opt for the $500 cash-out option in my contract. I didn't want their assigned company. I told the company and AHS that I wanted to go direct and get reimbursed. I then began to look for another company that could do this and potentially save some money. I didn't like the idea of a fixed quote of $1800 for something that might not be a big deal. That's when I called Texas APS and their guy, Matt, came out to look at our problem. He looked over the situation and then gave his manager his assessment. Texas APS came back with a quote that was a range of between $750 to $2400, worst case scenario. This was much more appealing than a fixed, worst case scenario quote. Texas APS then sent out their plumbing specialist, Matt. Matt is a cautious, discerning person who carefully deterined that it appeared the crack/leak was only coming from the pipe coupling. This meant it was not below the floor level. He carefully removed the PVC coupling from around the pipe and replaced it with a new coupling and section of large, flexible, black rubber hose. This all worked and solved our problem. He was done in two hours and we saved a lot of money. I'll soon be 70 and over the years I have seen a lot of contractors and when looking for one, you want 1) someone you can trust to do the job right and 2) price it right, price it fairly. Texas APS was that company and and did just that. I have to give credit to Matt who I believe made all the difference in the world. He's a problem solver who cares about the work he does and the customer. The other company has been quoted as saying "AHS is my customer" not the consumer. Texas APS is not affiliated with AHS and only care about the end-user customer. I highly recommend Texas APS if you have a gnarly plumbing problem.

Feedback I wrote to the office rep: Hi Jillian, I am replying to you regarding the service provided by your tech Justin for looking into a 'buzzing/humming' garbage disposer at my rental property. Justin arrived at the service address, barely performed any tasks or diagnostics and then spoke to me to give two options: (1) he could open the disposal and check the motor to see if he can repair it (2) we could change out the garbage disposer for ~400 dollars - standard disposer or ~800 for a higher volume, better disposer. I told him I will connect with you when I am ready to move forward. I took the time to do my homework and reached out to Insinkerator (badger's manufacturer and parent company) for some troubleshooting pointers. I was immidiately provided with a link: support.insinkerator.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/515 to find a quick repair video and troubleshooting instructions. I had a spare badger wrench at my home. I drove to the property, followed the steps with the wrench and the disposer starting working again like a charm. The tenant was shocked at the estimates provided by your tech and told that he didnt run water or even sit down to look at the disposer. The lack of business integrity is appalling. Anu

    Local Plumbing Service
When the plumber came, I described the problem clearly, explained the history of the problem, that is, a valve is not functioning (either opening up, nor closing off, there is a broken valve gate stem). He turned the handle for over a minute, and he confirmed the valve is bad. However, he then wants to go check my water heaters, and all components of the whole house, instead of focusing on where I needed the help. I guess this plumbing company is so short of jobs lately. They wanted to create more jobs for them to charge me more by giving me a run-around. I sent the guy away.
