  • Dr. Emery has been my Optometrist for several years. She has always made me feel very comfortable and I know it is very important to her that she gives me an accurate prescription for my glasses or contacts. She never rushes through the exam and takes all the time necessary to make sure that I get the best possible fit. She is very kind and patient and I ALWAYS have better vision when I leave her office!!

  • They were really nice.  Yes, they were good at giving prescriptions and being welcoming.  No, we did not have to wait long in the waiting room.  Yes, I would use them again in the future.

  • I called the next morning and scheduled surgery.  Easiest procedure I've ever had.  He detached a muscle to my eye, moved it a fraction, and sewed it back down with one stitch.  When I could leave, I went outside and my double vision was gone, I had peripheral vision  back, and distance vision was back.  He told me it could come loose and he'd have to do it over but so far, all is well.
Dr. Busse isn't always very tactful but I'll take knowledge and skill over tactfulness any day.

  • The visit went very well.  His office is sort of hard to find, since it is in the middle of a medical park and next to a hospital, but again, well worth it.  The waiting room is very kid oriented and my son loves going to his office.  Dr. Busse is very good with our son and again almost looks forward to his next appointment.  Now Dr. Busse's staff could use some help however.  I have had several encounters with his staff that did not sit very well with me, one being an insurance issue and the other was rescheduling an appointment, but we continued going to this office because of Dr. Busse and his knowledge and care.

  • Upon arrival at Dr. Jackson's office, I was very impressed by his office...super cute!!  The staff was friendly and the office was very child friendly.  One of Dr. Jackson's assistants dilated my son's eyes, so that Dr. Jackson could evaluate him properly.  While we waited for his eyes to dilate, we were sent down the street to a cute little cookie shop for a complimentary cookie.  What a cute idea, my son loved it.
When we returned back to Dr.Jackson's office, we were seated in one of the observation rooms and waited on the doctor to come in.  The room was also very kid oriented and had several amazing ways of getting a kids attention.   Dr. Jackson then entered the room, did NOT introduce himself, did NOT greet us, but only said, "So why are you here today".   I explained to him that we were here for a second opinion on my sons recent diagnosis of a lazy eye.  His response was, "I don't do second opinions".  At this point I was done with him already.  He simply looked at my son for maybe one minute and said whoever sent me here was correct, he has a lazy eye.  He never offered a solution to the problem or anything.  What a waste of a trip!  We traveled an hour and a half to see this guy and this is how we are treated.  All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!

  • I was very pleased with our experience. The practice was a little hard to get into for a first time patient, but I was willing to wait for a pediatric ophthalmologist as opposed to an optometrist or someone without pediatric experience. Dr. Jackson's office is well set up for kids and my 5 year old, who worries about everything and doesn't handle medical procedures well at all, had no problems with the exam. Dr. Jackson was friendly, good with kids, and efficient. He is also well credentialed. Be warned that they do dilate the eyes, so the appointment is fairly lengthy because you have to wait 30 minutes while they fully dilate.

  • My daughter's vision has been worsening enough to warrant multiple trips to Dr. Jackson's office for new prescriptions so that she can see without squinting. Dr. Jackson is great with young children and his exam rooms are filled with fun, retro entertainments to keep parents and kiddos distracted.

  • FANTASTIC! We're set for life. Great job by the provider!

  • He is very patient with children and his office is set up specifically for them.  We have bee going to him for a while now and couldn't be happier.
