  • It went well considering the condition of my knee. Everything has heeled as they told me and I am very satisfied with the whole process. Dr. Provider name locked. 's staff arranged every area of the process from the hospital to PT aftercare and follow up.

  • Dr. Provider name locked. has seen me twice.  Both times he sat down, listened to my descriptin of the pain, asked lots of questions, and then carefully outlined my options.  He considers surgery to be the last resort (which is refreshing).  All of the office staff are polite, attentive, and pleasant.  The waiting room can be crowded, but I was called within 10 minutes of my scheduled time.
Dr. Provider name locked. was recommended to me by my occupational therapist.  He's new to the area and building a clientel, so I had no problem getting an appointment to fit my schedule.  I will continue with him as long as it takes (sigh) because I have confidence in him.

  • After 8 years of shoulder pain and numerous physical therapy appointments, several different orthopedic surgeon appointments, out-of-the-ordinary specialist treatments, and purchasing an expensive bed to sleep on, I decided that surgery was the only answer to my problem.  Several friends, as well as another doctor, recommended Provider name locked. .  I made an appointment with him in the spring of 2014.  I expected him to immediately agree with me and sign me up for surgery.  Instead, he took the conservative route and said, "Let's try a few other things first."  I appreciated that he didn't immediately want to grab the knife!
Although the less conservative route did not work, I at least confirmed that surgery was my only option--I was ready to get rid of the pain and prepared for surgery in Provider name locked. , 2014.   I did a lot of research on the surgery and what would take place during the healing process.  I was intellectually ready for the pain, the physical therapy, and the probable 6-12 months before I would be much closer to being "fixed."
It's now been over 3 months since my surgery, and I've told both my physical therapist (see my recommendation for Provider name locked. with Select Physical Therapy on Provider name locked. Rd.!) and Dr. Provider name locked. that the surgery really wasn't as bad as I expected and the healing process has been bearable.  I attribute this to what I understand is Dr. Provider name locked. 's surgical process that tends to cause less pain for the patient in rotator cuff surgery.  I was fortunate to not work during this process, so that allowed me time to relax and not really have to use my arm unnecessarily.  However, I still am grateful that Dr. Provider name locked. was my surgeon.
Dr. Provider name locked. and his staff at Orthpaedic Specialists of Provider name locked. were all very pleasant people, and when I had a question over the phone, I always got a prompt answer from one of them.  I highly recommend this orthopaedic group and Dr. Provider name locked. , their shoulder specialist!
