  • Dr. Parker was rude, arrogant, and condescending. I’m told that there are better Rheumetologist’s in this practice, but since I already saw Dr. Parker, I am not allowed to switch doctors at all, so I have opted to drive to Houston to see a Rheumetologist there instead. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone that I have encountered in his profession. I felt like he was just there to collect his paycheck and didn’t even care about my concerns. I won’t be back.

  • Dr Shashoua and his staff were wonderful. The surgery took 6 hours, but recovery went well. He prescribed medication to counteract the constipating effect of the narcotic pain killers, and that was a great relief (pardon the pun). Up and around in one week, off the narcotics in less than a week. 100% satisfied and pleased.

  • Perfect, Jodi was very pleasant and professional. I was very nervous for my surgery but she made me feel more relaxed and comfortable, and after surgery she made sure I got back safely. I would definitely call her again if I ever needed her services.

  • Dr. Ashour was extremely professional, courteous, friendly. He spent almost an hour answering all of my questions and concerns. I look forward to him performing the surgery and am extremely confident in his ability.

  • I have to give Dr. Marcella Madera as good a review as is possible. When I was referred to her I was in severe and unremitting pain. She took me through the necessary imaging studies to determine that surgery was medically necessary: a sequestered disc at T12/L1 was causing pressure on the spinal cord. She is highly trained (Johns Hopkins) and she is also skilled at explaining potential risks and rewards from what to me seemed a scary and concerning condition. Her bedside manner is great! She is respectful and kind and willing to listen to all questions, and is very affirming. Her support staff is professional, helpful, courteous. I would give five stars to this practice even if I didn't have such good results, but I'm happy to say that I have experienced 100 percent cessation of all pain. Awesome people.

  • Over the last 1.5 years I've had 3-4 appointments with Dr. Howland himself (as opposed to just getting allergy shots from his staff). At every appointment I've found him to be thorough, to explain things well, and not at all rushed, a rare quality from a doctor today. His staff is friendly and helpful too. I especially appreciate that they respond to feedback... when their office relocated to Angus Road late last year they changed some of their shot rooms hours. Based on feedback from patients, they added back their early open on Tuesdays.

  • She is a wonderful doctor, very kind, and diligent. Her bedside manner could not be better. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Scheduling is very easy. They couldn't be nicer or more accommodating.

  • Had to go to a canceled app and they never responded to a note for the front desk person to get me a RX. still waiting since last Thursday when I went up there to ask for it. Big outfit felt like a cow being let in then the next.

  • I had a pretty traumatic experience here. I was brought in to the examination room and when I looked up at the ceiling, there were magazine cutouts of "sexy hunks" Brad Pitt, Jamie Foxx, Garth Brooks from People Magazine or whatever. It was actually pretty hilariously disgusting, and very unprofessional for a medical office. They didn't ask me the usual questions that a OBGYN would ask for a well woman exam (what is your sexual orientation for one.). I'm bisexual and sleep with women, so I was very confused why the doctor suggested that I be fitted for an IUD. When the results of my pap smear became available, the nurse and I played phone tag for a while. I never received the results. Terrible service. I also waited in the waiting room for close to an hour.

  • Checked in my mom first thing that evening, only to find that $75 and an hour later that the doctor did not know what was causing it nor was able to treat my mom and suggested she see a dermatologist.
Have since found a alternative physician who for $50 sees us in under an hour and successfully treated my mom for an allergic reaction to a spider bite with a simple antibiotic cream remedy and supplements for what my mom was deficient in to fend off this rash.
    NOTE:
This location is a great, easy to access, quick to get seen facility for a fraction of the cost of anywhere else in Austin for the entire family, takes insurance, but does not have staff nor physicians with any nutritional nor advanced medical knowledge. Is a great place to also get x-rays, tests done, and checked up come clergy season.
PARKING AND ENTRANCE TO BUILDING SUCKS.
Is at the end of a building that shares multiple business suites and is a pain to enter as it faces southward traffic separated from north traffic with no middle lane and coming north you literally have to cross a bridge and u-turn just to then enter thru a apartment complex next door to get to this location with about 12 parking zones to work with.
Otherwise you lose another 15 min having to navigate a maze of busy businesses from Gracie Farms area with people constantly cutting you off from entering as they exit onto a already closed off lane to the light intersection.
    OVERALL
Great staff, ok doctors, crappy location that is extremely hard to get in and out of,great for families with and without insurance, and for visits relating to allergies to save a little money, but you will need to know who to have them send your prescription med to as hey do not carry any onsite nutritional products of any kind, nor have any real nutritional knowledge outside of eating junk processed food and traditional pharma meds.
Also a great alternative to the hospital in a pinch for broken or sprained injuries, shots, and or a affordable check up.
