    Kerry was excellent! He came and picked up my riding lawn mower and push mower at 7:45am took them to his shop in Spicewood and brought them back completed repaired as promised same day around 4:15pm. He communicated well via text and was very friendly. Cost was very reasonable - well deserving of a tip as well. Thank you Kerry! I'll be using you again next year!

    Very well. He came when he said he would. He came to my house so I didn't have to take to a shop, which is a great value-added service. I didn't even need to be there. He did the work and emailed me a detailed invoice that said exactly what he'd done. I would definitely recommend him.

    Very personable and service oriented Repair was assessed when I dropped the lawnmower off. New belt had to be ordered and shipment delay caused a few days slippage on the original completion date--but I was notified as soon as the shipment issue occurred. The job was completed the day after the new belt arrived. I definitely would use Dave's Cycles again and I give it a high recommendation.

    Found Steve from a single review on Angie's List and am I glad I did. He gave me a lot of good information up front along with the estimate that was right on target. I learned some tips on maintaining lawn mowers these days with the ethanol used in gasoline. I brought my mower to Steve on a Saturday evening of a holiday weekend, and he got right on the repair and had it done the next morning... wow. And it is running like new now.

    I saw a new product AMP offered called the TRITON 9000ES. I was mainly looking for a generator, but I always need an air compressor and welder. This unit has all those features rolled into one machine. I contacted AMP and there was always a live representative to speak to. They were very knowledgeable about the products and made sure it was enough power to use in emergency situations. They made my purchase easy and hassle free. The unit came with a 1 year warranty through AMP and a 2 year warranty through Kohler on the engine. They even offered to do free maintenance on the unit for up to two years as long as I send the product to them. I have used the unit day in and day out and it performs beyond any machine I have owned.

    The mower was dropped off on 4/25/2016 and picked up today 5/17/2016. Someone was suppose to call if there was additional work needed beyond what was requested, this did not happen. Although I would have probably agreed to the work, I prefer to have the opportunity to decide and also know what else will be done. Also, no one called to say it was ready for pick-up until 2 hours after I called at 8am this morning when I found out it was ready. The guy I spoke with this morning over the phone was extremely rude. He didn't want to answer any of my questions and kept interrupting and talking over me... at one point he kept getting louder and louder. My husband called them late last week and they said it wasn't ready and told him they didn't know when it would be ready but could be another 2-3 weeks, the guy he spoke with had the same rude attitude. I eventually spoke with a lady in the office area after my phone call this morning and I finally got some of my questions answered which made me feel somewhat better, she even apologized. When I went to pickup the mower some guy at the counter was again really rude. I ended getting checked out by someone else who was thankfully nicer. I'm not sure why the other guy was so rude or why the guy over the phone was so rude but I felt I was being discriminated against both times and my husband felt the same way. I've been coming to this place for many years and never had a problem but I don't think I'll be back. I think this business has changed and seems to cater more to a specific clientele depending on who waits on you. I'm sure I can find another place to service my mower that will be friendlier and with less bigotry.

    ron the first washer they called and said it could be fixed for 190.00, I said ok, they ordered the parts then told me it couldn't be fixed, supposedly. they diagnosed it wrong, then right? who knows, they didn't do it right on the second washer, they did not call me for permission to fix, supposedly they will fix under 140 with out permission, I don't know, its not on the reciept, this came to a bit over 150.00. I picked up the washer and it was hard to start, then it would not work. I took it back, they called and told me it would be another 200.00 to fix, I said no and asked for my money back. that's when the sparks flew, so bad that the owner Dougy talked bad about my Mother. refused to refund my money. Bottom line is the washer was not diagnosed correctly, nor was it fixed correctly. I have a hunk of metal that doesn't work. If they had told me that to start we would have been good, but their manager kylie and owner were quite rude and insulting. They were given every opportunity to make it right but refused, when I asked the manager is this is the way they do business, he said yes. what kind of response is that? they used to be 2 and 3 months out, now they don't have much in line, hmmm must be a trend

    I was pleased with the previous service that I had received at Austin Outdoor Power, when they serviced my Honda mower a couple of years ago, so I decided to give them a try once again.  They serviced the mower again, and it seems to be working fine.  The Sears Edger is a whole different story.  When I received the edger back, and cranked it up to use it, I noticed the blade wasn't turning.  I looked at it a little closer and found that the belt was very worn and in fact, hanging broken.  I returned the edger to Austin Outdoor Power to inquire about why they didn't check the belt during the tune-up and even recommend a new belt,.  I was told, by the owner, that this is not part of their "job" and that "they don't actually take it our and edge anything with it" to check it out so how would they know that they belt was broken.  I had not even had a chance to use the edger since the service, so I'm thinking the belt was broken before it went there and they didn't even look at this major component of an edger during the tune-up.
    At this point, I realized it is totally my fault for thinking that I was going to get quality service from Austin Outdoor Power.  Don't get me wrong, the gentlemen working at the front counter were very helpful and professional.  It was after speaking to the owner, Karen McGee, that I realized my mistake in thinking customer service was their goal.  If the professionalism of the owner is any indication of the quality of the company as a whole, I would definitely not purchase anything from this company, nor take anything there for service.  I can see why they have the kind gentlemen at the front and keep her in the back.  Maybe she was just having a bad day, and my job was just too small for her to really care about.  At any rate, I won't be returning in the future and hope others will use with caution as well.  I hope that Ms. McGee will support her business in a more positive way in the future, and realize that it doesn't matter if a job is big or small, we all just want to have the results we expect when we pay for a service.

    Dave greeted us immediately after we arrived and helped unload the mower. He asked for a brief history of the mower and what was wrong, then did some simple checks. Right away he spotted several problems which, in his opinion, made the cost of repair not be worthwhile. He then spent time with us talking about buying our next mower -- what model and features we should look for and what to stay away from. VERY professional.

    KEN'S MOBILE SERVICE
    This was the second time that he has worked on my high end Honda mower. Over all, he is very convenient and extremely nice. Granted, my mower is an older model but I'm a little frustrated that both times he fixed my mower, I had problems within 1 use afterwards. He is also on the expensive side, but you are paying for expertise and convenience. After paying more than $350 to get the mower fixed, I've decided to just get a new one.
