Every single service provider they sent out (on fridge, ice maker, etc.) was a nightmare to work with. One actually caused damage to my Sub-Zero fridge that leaked all over my newly-finished wood floors and damaged them permanently. Another one double-billed me. ORHP employees were untrained, rude and unhelpful; I had to go all the way to upper management to get anything done, and that was painful. Every single conversation was painful. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Customer service is atrocious. Every single individual with whom I spoke at this company was rude or refused to answer even the simplest question with anything other than, "I'm sorry I don't have that information." or "I'm sorry I don't know." or "Let me transfer you to so-and-so." And then nobody ever answers the phone.

AHS does a good job as a home warranty company. I've always had decent response, good repair people, and the contract seems easy to understand.
The fees seem to rise quite a bit from year to year, I used to pay $475/ year annual fee with a $60 per service charge, and now its $613/year with a $75 per service fee. My biggest concern is now they will only pay $10 per pound of refrigerant for the air conditioner. With that change I feel I may look at other providers.
